My mother hosted my bridal shower here in July, and we had a terrific experience! The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Ryan. The Inn is very beautiful, with a few great event spaces. The fireplace room was perfect for our party of 17, with enough space while also being cozy. We also found their prices to be very reasonable after checking out a couple of other alternatives for private tea party venues. I would definitely recommend the Inn for a private event and for their public tea parties, which I have also been to and enjoyed.

Went for Sunday brunch. Had heard wonderful things. Service was pleasant, but slow. Very old charming supper club vibe. No AC though, was an uncomfortable duration. Food was excellent, but be prepared to shell out a decent chunk of change for either the 3 or 5 course tasting menu at brunch.

It felt very homey and the location was great! We had dinner plans in the north loop and it was just a quick walk to it!

We love this place! Such a great patio and wonderful bar. Fantastic for date night dinner and drinks or a meal with the kids.
If you need drink recommendations Brad is the best- such an extensive knowledge of wines and cocktails and always happy to find something to match what you’re looking for. Corey always recognizes familiar faces and does a great job making everyone feel welcome!

Places like these are hard to find. Beautiful establishment with great vibes. Excellent food, polite and warm waitstaff. We went for the Lobster Fest and it exceeded our expectations. Our waiter was great, helpful, and very very nice. He had a cool accent that added to the fanciness of the evening.
My favorite part is they have there own close free parking. This is worth its weight in gold in these cold winter months.
Also randomly Garrison Keillor was there.

Wonderful service: professional yet friendly and approachable. Delicious food. And the setting is beautiful and relaxed. Go here with a fun group or have a romantic dinner for two. Either way, you'll have a memorable time.

This is one of the best places in Minneapolis to eat. The food was amazing, and the staff was very attentive and personable. The owners came to our table and thanked us for coming. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you for a great night. Our family enjoyed all of it. We will be back again.

We went there for our wedding reception and it was PERFECT! This historic establishment met and exceeded our expectations. We had a private room. The waiter was top notch. The manager was so friendly. The food was to die for. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned so you tasted the food in all its glory. I can't say enough about the treatment we received. They knocked it out of the park. This is the perfect date night place or just fine dining experience you're looking for. Give it a go if you haven't and go back if you've been. We are going back for sure. Amazing experience and spectacular food. Thank you Nicollet Island Inn!

Lovely decor and ambience. Very comfortable room. I did miss having a coffee maker in my room: every morning there was a carafe of coffee available by the elevator on my floor. Comfy robes were provided--needed when going for the coffee. No ice machines; didn't need it but could have called the desk if I wanted some. Didn't visit the dining room: I felt the prices were out of my budget, and the menu sounded a bit too gourmet. Interesting experience.
