The Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis

Booked a room to spend a night downtown for the holidays. Hotel is undergoing renovations. didn't have any construction activity or noise while there, but signs of it throughout the floors. our room was well sized, clean, with a comfortable bed. location is great for going to the theater, or target center.
entrance is weird. very nondescript and the doors are locked, even during the day at check-in. i've never once experienced that in any city anywhere else in the world. Plus the guy at the desk stepped away for at least 5 minutes so we had to wait in the car (Dec in MN is cold) until we could get buzzed in. i can understand locked after 10 (maybe 9) but at 3-4 pm is strange.
overall staff is very friendly.
no parking lot at hotel, but there's plenty of street parking if you're only staying a night. otherwise paid lots nearby.
you can skip breakfast, it's not worth waking up for. basically pre-packed food/drinks. not sure if that's normal or just because of the holidays.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was courteous I had a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful hotel. Quiet. Safe. Clean.
Disappointed by: No coffee maker in our room. Bedside lamp broken. No GF options for breakfast (fruit and a hard boiled egg - nothing warm; no granola even)

Nice clean and stylish room. However, the bed was not Queen size. I have a queen sized bed at home, I know what size that is, but this bad was a smaller double

Was very nice room, clean and close to all the downtown events. Orpheum was right across the street. Saw a show there.

This was a great hotel and in close proximity to several Key Downtown Minneapolis locations. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic and housekeeping did a great job picking up our messes and keeping everything organized for us. I would stay here again!

Room was clean, staff was pleasant. Good area and close to everything going on. Tv needs updating.
