Homestead Motel in Branson

There were 6 of us staying in a room at the Homestead Motel for 5 nights (July 7-12, 2017). The room was clean, spacious, the A/C worked well, the pool was clean, refreshing, and well lit. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the owners are extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating, and attentive. They cater to your needs well and make it a very pleasant and nice experience. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was a good size (not tiny like a lot of places). I felt very safe, secure, and close enough to everything, yet just outside the hopping area to make getting around a bit easier. Only two things I could even say negative about it is that the parking is a bit compact, but it is only an 11 room hotel and the fowl smell was somewhat noticeable on windier days, but we raise chickens and have a farm, so it wasn't a big deal. Certainly wasn't overwhelming or even all that noticeable. Brian and Mica (the owners) are so kind, friendly, and treat their clients with great care and honesty. ALSO, They run it ALL themselves!!!!!! Great American owned, operated, and proud hotel! :-) Thank you both so much for such a wonderful stay and your help in making our anniversary trip AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Look forward to coming back and staying again.

My husband and I stayed at Homestead Motel over Labor Day weekend 2025. The reason for our stay was we were helping to move my mother from Iowa to Hollister. The owner was very accommodating and understanding as well as gracious in pricing with us, as we booked directly with the motel instead of a 3rd party booking. As well as they are themselves pet parents and are inclusive to patrons who can't be without their fur babies whether on vacation or getting mom settled into a new apt! We highly recommend Homestead Motel!

Awesome diamond in the rough! Small cozy place, SUPER clean, beds were comfortable, host was extremely nice and accommodating! Will be staying again!
