Check in fine, first room had the nastiest carpet I have ever seen and the “darkening curtain” was 3/4 the way tore off the rod. Hardly any cars in the parking lot and we had to move from the 1st floor to the 3rd. Room was a bit nicer, newer carpet…. But may just be darker and can’t see pet stains…??? This use to be a nice hotel…. Kind of sad!

Perfect location and walking distance to downtown activities in Midtown. Brandon was very attentive and took care of any issues we had. Go Brandon! Another staff member whom I did not get her name emptied our trash cans with just a brief mention. Thank you.

Staff was very courteous and the room was clean. Parking was a bit tricky as there wasn’t enough parking space.

Excellent location and a clean room, although it could use some refreshing. Breakfast was okay.

Breakfast was ok but ran out of items and took a while to refill. Same with juices and coffee. There was a hair on the egg serving spoon. In the room the refrigerator had 2 hairs in there but worked well. We do like staying here. Great location to be

Staff could have been friendlier ipon arrival. The room was not cleaned, there were cereal crumbs on the floor, under the beds looked dirty. I was looking for my earrings that i dropped, that's why I looked under the beds.

Good rate for 1 night compared to other hotels in the area. comfortable bed, clean rooms. Okay breakfast. Nice staff. We stay here often

Breakfast decent for day or two. Nothing interesting in outside surrounding area.

Staff were very friendly and attentive, room was very clean and updated - even our pet room. Outdoor hot tub was a nice bonus. Full hot and cold breakfast. Lobby and breakfast area had a warm and inviting feel. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The room was clean and the amenities were good as well. The staff was friendly too. Enjoyed my stay. Will stay again.

This was a very very new ce hotel I am going to recommend it to family and friends price was very reasonable, breakfast was great hot, room was very spacious clean neat will be coming back soon!!

Lady at the front office was very nice and helpful. The balcony had amazing views.

We stayed in 3 bedroom condo. The unit was clean and comfortable. Kitchen and appliances/cookware were very clean! There was plenty of hot water for six people that showered however the only issue was low water pressure.

The views from the condo were amazing, and the condo was spacious. The pool area was under construction, but it was open, and the kids loved that the depth went to 9 feet.

This was a very nice condominium. It was in a great location for walking around Ruidoso. It was quiet and the courtyard was very nice. The beds were comfortable. We had a great time!

We have stayed at Ruidoso River Resort many times. The accommodations are great, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is amazing. Sit outside and have coffee on the deck or stay inside and enjoy the fireplace. There is a full kitchen with everything you need. These condos are easy walking distance to downtown. We’ve never had a bad experience staying here. We would highly recommend!

The facility is really nice! Great location in midtown Ruidoso. Easy to walk to local shops, restaurants and bars. Located right on the river, it's very peaceful and serene. The units are fully equipped and modern. No issues with any equipment in the unit. The bed is super comfy!

Great resort with awesome communication! Our condo had everything we needed and was perfect for us. Condo was clean and our balcony looked out on the river where we saw elk and wild horses just walking around. Seamless check in and checkout! Will stay at again if available when we return next year!!

We arrived on 29 Dec. 2024, left on 3 Jan 2025. Great weather, disappointed that there was zero snow. Little on the Mountains. Beautiful drive in. Red River Resort is located about the middle of town and 1 block off the main drag. You can walk to most anywhere you want to go. The resort is beautifully situated and centrally located. The apartment was well-laid-out, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable, with high ceilings, good atmospheric lighting, several nice area rugs, attractive furniture, a gas fireplace, and a large well-equipped bathroom with a washer/dryer unit in an adjacent closet. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but there was every pot, pan, dish, cup...

It was great as we needed a little escape from reality. Very cozy.

It was very tranquil there. The deer would come right up to us, and some would let us pet them. It was actually quite therapeutic for us there.

The cabin has a great location and a peaceful setting. We even saw a deer walking by at night, which was a nice experience. However, cleanliness was below expectations, with hair present throughout the cabin, including on the bed quilts. The heater was also not working, which caused some discomfort. With improved cleaning and maintenance, this could be a great stay.

Cabin was cozy and well maintained. However, surrounding cabins are close in proximity and the neighboring cabins proceeded to sing and play loud music until well past midnight. Perhaps enacting quiet hours would benefit those looking to escape noise.

Cute cabin pretty primitive. Limited items to cook with. Could have been cleaner, did see some spiders in the cabin, but being in the woods I’d didn’t really have a problem with it. If I went back I’d bring more items for cooking with me. The area around was nice the deer and elk coming in close we neat we enjoyed looking at them.

The cabin is a dated but nice. It had a great patio and outside area. It did get a little hot in there at night as the window unit didn't cool things down as much as we hoped but it wasn't a huge issue. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

The room 114 close to the exit door. The exit door very loud and could here it all night. The room was very small. This is wyndham rewards connection. But not listed as this on line. Missed putvon rwards discount.

The room was clean. Property was well maintained and safe. The staff was very accommodating.
