I was a bit disappointed with the service here. The room was nice though. The bed was definitely the highlight of our stay. It hugs you just right!

Came here from the Quality Inn down the road and you'd never know they were owned by the same company. Quality Inn was infested with cockroaches but Comfort Inn is amazing! So happy we were able to book a reservation for the same night! We will be back!

Okay, probably the best Comfort Inn I've ever stayed at, which is saying something because these places are usually really rough around the edges. I liked the renovations to our room and lobby, the room felt "refreshed" and I was happy they allowed us to control the temp of our AC (usually at these hotels it "says" it goes to 65, but usually doesn't cool the room down more than 70) There were a few nitpicky details about cleanliness, some strange staining in the bathroom around the shelves for example, and a few stains on the floor, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They had a nice outdoor seating area for smokers, my only complaint is at night the area is over run with waterbugs. Not sure what they could do about that but it was still a nice little spot for smokers. Usually it seems the smoker section is just one rusted table and chair way out away from the hotel, so it was nice to have a few benches to sit at near the building.

Can't say enough about this hotel. Clean,updated and the staff from the desk to the breakfast were very very friendly and helpful. My family of 4 will be coming back to stay again here. Even though we were about 10 minutes from the beach it was definitely worth the drive. The pool area was very clean and our daughter loved swimming there. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Rooms have been renovated recently and are nicer than I was expecting; great front desk staff; convenient location; sparkling poor, would stay here again! Breakfast staff are also very helpful and attentive. Housekeeping did a great job while we were out for the day.

Staff was very courteous. We were in North Carolina for a funeral. Nancy, (i believe her name was) gave us a sympathy card. That was such a nice and sweet gesture. I rated this stay at Comfort Inn University with 5 stars, and would recommend it.

Normally, a good deal at this hotel. This time, exhausted from international travel and sick, I wasn't able to get hot water in the shower. I eventually figured out myself that the shower handle was placed backwards in the two rooms in which I tried. So opening the faucet fully would lead to ice cold water in middle of winter, no matter how long you kept it on, of course. No help was really provided other than an attempt to switch rooms, which led to frustration when it was the same on second room. Only a 10% refund was eventually extended... Will they fix this issue?

great inexpensive place for a few overnights. Breakfast not very tasty, but a coffee/tea and a decent muffin were easy to grab. I would sdtay there again.
