The bungalow is 4 blocks away from a popular food cart pavilion with beer garden & live music, natural food market & coffee shop, a spa & massage center, chiropractor, natural pet store & many parks. It is close to University of Oregon (8-10 mins), Hayward Fields (8-10 mins), Autzen Stadium (10-15 mins), downtown (7 mins), fairgrounds, events center, stunning hikes & rivers, public pool & a variety of restaurants & stores to meet all needs. It is also close to a beautiful country drive to many Willamette Valley wineries. If you feel like cozying at home, you’ll enjoy the high speed internet & Smart TV where you can sign in to all your own favorite streaming networks, use the bungalow’s Roku & Peacock accounts & watch basic cable too.
Begin your stay with a cup of the starter supply of coffee which I provide for your first morning. Living room is ready for you to relax & get cozy with plenty of blankets, pillows, books & a comfy couch & armchair to sink into with a cup of a variety of teas which I also provide. Or self-care with weights & yoga mats provided. Kitchen well stocked including a popcorn maker & kernels! Raised in Hawaii & Oregon, I’ve done my best to create an oasis for you in the huge, fully fenced private backyard where you can bask in the sun, rest under the shade of an ancient Ash tree, or eat dinner to the light of sunset & patio lights.
The yard has lots of space for dogs! One medium doggie or two small doggies are allowed. Please see below in “Other details to note” for requirements & let me know if you will be bringing your dog - I charge a $30 one-time fee per dog & will have a basket of essentials & goodies waiting for them.
Because the home is not fully child-proofed, it is suitable for children 8 and older, however, I am open to discussing the possibility of younger children staying too.

The space comes with two private parking spaces (one in covered carport) plus free street parking & is located on a bus line. This is also a charming & safe walking and biking neighborhood.

Doggies must be: fully potty-trained, not excessive barkers, trained not to chew on things or dig in yard, and flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.
This property truly is an oasis, so if you are staying more than a week, myself or someone else will likely come to water plants and tend yard if need be to keep things beautiful for you. We will check with you as to when would be convenient for you so we don’t interrupt. *Please note that during rainy months, yard may be muddy. Towels are provided for muddy paws!

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit for 2 (+) people.... Nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood this one room suite has a private entrance and a compact, but cute, ensuite bathroom. The suite is attached to our home where we live year round. You have reserved access to our heated swimming pool in summer, and year round access to our hot tub. The suite offers a queen bed, fridge, Keurig and microwave. We have a single 3 in 1 sleeper chair available for a third person. However, three people in the suite may feel pretty cozy.
We try to give our guests their space but are available if you need us. Your guest suite has a separate entrance but is attached to our home. We just recently finished installing an exterior deck for your space and a brand new bathroom with shower.
We live here full time and plan to provide you privacy but are available by text. Since we share walls we may hear one another but have quiet time hours 9 pm to 7 am. We will allocate a predetermined 2 hour window daily for you to have access to pool (only summer months) and hot tub time without us being there.

Brand new (August 2010), delightful tiny cottage in Central Eugene (Home of the Oregon Ducks), is... located between the Pacific Ocean and Cascade Mountains in the lovely Willamette Valley. Features include serene colors and textures, tall ceilings, and antiques. All furniture and linens are top quality and new for your comfort. Reading a book in the cozy window seat is a perfect way to unwind after a full day of activities. Ample storage is provided for your belongings. A deep closet with shelves can accommodate most personal items. In addition, space above the 9 foot row of cabinets can store extras. Larger items can be placed in the garage as stated on the checklist. Finally, light fills the cottage through extensive quality lighting, skylight, bay window, and two other large windows. Built with a good sized kitchen, the studio comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 1 child. The w/d and closet space are bumpouts into the garage. The overall sq. footage is about 450 sq feet. A ductless heat pump was installed June 2019 for ac and heat.

Bungalows, Cottages, Tudors, Atomic Age Ranches, and Craftsmen homes were built in the neighborhood, creating an interesting flat walking tour through one of Eugene's older neighborhoods. Plenty of patio seating is available to take advantage of our perfect Oregon summer and fall. Next to the Amazon bike trail, easy access to Eugene is available. In addition, the rapid bus system is just a few blocks from the cottage. An easy walk will get you to major venues in Eugene: the U of O, Hult Center/Cuthbert Amphitheater/The Shedd, library, Saturday Market, fine dining, and many recreational opportunities. Also, several parks are sited close to the cottage.
