Reviews
We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the Waverly Cottage. We were able to prepare our own meals and entertain friends in such a pleasant atmosphere. The cottage was well cared for and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had all the amenities needed. The antiques were beautiful and everything was in working order. Would definitely stay again when we return to Medford on our next visit. Tiffany and Robert were most gracious and saw to it that we had all we needed during our stay.
I had the pleasure of staying at Waverly Cottage on my recent vacation to Oregon. This was one of the most unique places that I have ever stayed. The entire cottage is furnished in antiques. Even the fridge and the stove were from the past. The host had everything we needed for a perfect stay including home made banana bread waiting for us. A perfect place!
With a quick trip to Southern Oregon to celebrate my son's 18th birthday, our stay at the Waverly Cottage far exceeded our expectations! The grounds are true perfection & the home very well kept. The interior was clean, comfortable & oh so delightfully fun!! Tiffany was a great help to work with from pre-planning to check out! This home is a gem in the heart of Medford...a must see...& stay!
Last October I visited the area for a wedding and I have to admit, I was intrigued and excited to stay in such a historic bed and breakfast. The location of the Waverly Cottage was perfect, the home was stunning and the owners were very welcoming. I highly recommend The Waverly Cottage for future visits.
On the road from San Jose, Ca. to Portland, Or., my family made an overnight stop at Waverly Cottage. Believe it or not, the house is even more charming in person than in the pictures.
We had talked to Tiffany several times, coordinating the specifics, and Tiffany was very prompt in all her replies. We ended up being about an hour later than originally planned but Robert's smiling face was there to greet us and he showed us around the house.
A rush of cool air hit us as we entered. A pleasant surprise as we weren't planning on a house from the 1890's to have air conditioning. Oregon was experiencing 100+ degree heat wave so it was very appreciated.
The house was just as delightful inside as it was outside. Most of the furnishings were true to the Victorian period, though all the modern conveniences were also on hand. There were also many display cases with relics and antiques of years gone by. We spent several hours just looking at all the interesting pieces of history. I don't think we have ever stayed at a place where you could be entertained simply by being there.
The whole house was spotless, from the shiny hardwood floors to the sparkling clawfoot tub. The beds were comfortable and the living room was cozy.
The kitchen was stocked with lots of snacks, juices and goodies, including some special red, white and blue fruit tarts, chosen especially to commemorate the 4th of July holiday.
There was no lack of attention to detail. We felt pampered and special.
If we ever need to head north again, we will try to time it so we can stop in Medford for another stay at Waverly Cottage.
