La Posada Hotel in Laredo

Went to visit family across the border but didn’t want to stay in Mexico, so we got a room here and loved our experience. Such a beautiful hotel, with a great staff

It was a line for check in, I reserved a 2 bed room instead of that the gave me a single bed.

The room was clean and good size. The bed was comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and willing to assist. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a little bit of problems navigating from parking garage to lobby and to the room. Other than that it was a great stay.

The young lady at the front counter was very nice. The hotel was nice, but definitely needs some upgrades and they need to clean the light fixtures.

Everything was perfect! The staff, the room, i just wished we didn't have to pay to park at the hotels garage! $5 for self parking and 10 for valet daily. Also it would be nice to include at least a basic hotel with the reservations etc. But everything separately? And quite expensive too

The hotel has a beautiful architecture and atmosphere. It got me out of the standard of big hotel chains which was nice. It had a convenient restaurant located inside and house keeping kept everything nice daily.

The staff was very courteous. There is a beautiful courtyard with a pool and patio tables and chairs. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The parking garage entrance is a little hard to find, behind the hotel, but it is secure with personnel at the entrance. There is, however, a $5/night parking charge.
The only thing we found wrong with the room was tiny bugs in the lavatory in the morning and one wood roach in the bathroom, which would be expected in a historic building.

This was our second time staying here, and overall, our experience was good. The hotel has a charming antique vibe — a little old-fashioned, but that’s what makes it unique and full of character. The beds and sheets were very comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location is great.
However, the only downside this time was the cleanliness of our room. There were hairs on the shower wall, a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and even a drink container left behind from a previous guest — definitely unacceptable.
Despite that, we still appreciate the cozy atmosphere and vintage charm. With better attention to cleaning, this place would be perfect!
