We booked through the national 800 number. We needed a pet friendly room. They told us there was limited availability. At no point did they say the only room available was a smoking room. We checked in, took our bags up, and immediately noticed the stench of cigarette smoke. I went downstairs to ask for a different room, and was told that there were no other rooms. On checkout, we asked for a refund, and were told that's the only room that's been available for weeks. In addition to the smell, it had a grimey sheen, and looked like it hadn't been painted or deep cleaned since the late 80s. The bed, a full, which we knew was supposed to be a full, was more of a cot. The beadspread had light brown stains, which I told myself was hopefully from spilled tea.

No towels and no toilet paper when I got to the room so I had to go to the lobby for that. TV was not working until I had staff look at it.

took for ever to get checked in . not ready room plus no towels in room. bathroom a little dirty.

First off let me start by saying I APOLOGIZE TO EXTENDED STAY OF AMERICA SOUTHWEST FOR POSTING THIS ON THERE PAGE Extended stay of America South the manager is very rude and doesn't understand people situations. Rooms wasn't clean at all I was charged 2$ if I wanted clean sheets or stay two weeks. Then on April 26, 2025 I booked a room there because I been there for over a week in a half. Then I told them my situation that I don't have any family here and I have to walk to get things done to pay for my room. I try to go check in to a room I paid 53$ for to be told that I can't stay there due to late payments which is not true. If I come ask the front desk for a little extra time so I can walk and load this money on this card because it's cheaper if I book online instead of paying cash to them. Anyways I was told this after I book my room instead of being told this when I came and asked them for more time. So I couldn't stay there and the manager was gonna call the cops on me because I was standing outside with my dogs in the rain waiting for my mom to go send me money to get another room. This hotel isn't somewhere I don't wanna bring my dogs to anymore let alone bring kids there the vendor is to high and doesn't always give you your money back.

The check in staff was very pleasant.
The bed felt as if there was a pole down the middle.
The A/C was loud.
I barely slept.
The shower was good.

I would if I would have got to stay an sleep especially when I was asked what time would they be expecting me and I put 3-4am an when I get there I was told I had to be there by 1am or it was consider a no show so after driving 16 hours to find out not only did I pay for room I wasn’t even going to be able to sleep in an still had a 6 hour drive home so I just drove home
