I am currently staying here with my wife and kiddos, most reviews I've read on this place weren't that great we decided to take a chance on it anyway. Staff is extremely friendly rooms are clean and comfortable fully equipped small kitchen two beds and fold out you can not get a better deal for the price. Some minor issues with looks but it's clean and comfortable and no there are not bugs

Hotel is in need of a upgrade... some paint, plumbing repair, new TV... post said kitchenette...no such thing! Misleading ...rusty shower curtain rod. Holes in the wall. Bottom of beds dirty...no smoke detector ... safety issue ! I'll stop there 😵‍💫

Did not make it to the room. Because the parking was unsafe and no one in the office called the office number five or six time and no answer. This place is unsafe

The owners were friendly and always willing to help. But the place was in disrepair and not clean.

Place is old and needs a lot of work, at least the room we were in.

Poor parking - lots of thorns - high grass lots of trash under the bed. No glass plate in microwave No batteries in smoke alarms

The lady is at the office is always so kind and generous, each time I visit, she makes us feel very welcome!

The bed was real hard. It was clean. The website show a pier and a lite one, but it only goes part of the way down and no light at all. Ac was great, parking was fine. No problems with staff. It was just a one night stay. I drove to the pier at the park to fish. Caught speckled trout’s, that was fun.

The staff were very friendly. I was able to walk to the ocean just across the street and there was a little pier. The fulton mansion was just right next door. It wasn't fancy but it was cozy and the price was right.

Needs Updated and Good Cleaning
The lady during check-in was very friendly and nice. The check-in office was very messy and smelled bad. There were bags of what appeared to be dirty laundry stacked inside the check-in area. Someone had put fish in a trash can next to our cottage and the smell was horrible. The bathroom smelled very strong of urine, there was only half roll of toilet tissue, and the mirror was dirty.

Not my place to stay in Rockport, Tx
Place was nice across from waterfront. That is best point. Overall just not well kept up. Had a couple of dirty towels. Soap and shampoo offered was miniscule. Stayed three days and no room service. In my room, the AC was basically over my head over the bed. Could not use TV. Owner said it was a Smart TV and people kept putting their own info. Won't be back. Won't recommend.

It's a good party type of place. The food was seriously over priced but for that price you would think you get butter and not partially hydrated oil for a dipping sauce. They look the same but they are not.

The staff was super friendly.

Really enjoyed the boiled seafood. The shrimp and various types of crab were delicious. Not too much spice - quick delivery of food. We had a large group, and it was nice to sit outside. Service was also excellent.

One of two absolutely best places to eat in Rockport! Don't let the age and appearance of the restaurant outside fool you. The boiled seafood is 100% delicious, as good as the best in Alaska. HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic sea food. Ordered a seafood bucket for $19. Took the rest home had dinner twice at home. I want time to go back.

I've been coming here for years. The food is almost always perfect, but honestly the environment is why I always go back. You're in a tiny dining area and the couple who runs the restaurant will either chat with you or not depending on if you want them to and if they have time. It's always fun to bring a small group on a weekend and ask the owner for tips on how to eat and flavor the food. They are both so incredible, I will always recommend this restaurant.

This reaaurant is run by a husband and wife team from Japan. It reminds me of the little mom and pop sushi resaurnts you find in Japan. We always make it part of our trips to Rockport. The fish is amazingly fresh for such a tiny community so far from a major airport. The restaurant is very small with maybe seven tables so call ahead to get a table. You will love it.

Very cute little restaurant built in an old home. A real mom and pop operation. Great place to take a date mostly due to this place's charm. You'll definitely want to make a reservation because this place only has a few tables.

We ate there recently and enjoyed the experience: the food was good, as was the service, despite the place being crowded and everyone pretty much showing up at the same time. The man and woman who run it were attentive and helpful. We were happy with our selections and will definitely go back to try other dishes. I feel like Rockport is lucky to have such a nice little place for good fresh sushi and other Japanese dishes. You can check out their lunch and dinner menus online. Do remember that it is a small place, so if you plan to go with a group, consider calling ahead for a reserved space.
