Hotels in St. George

Have stayed here many times before and it was great. This time we had a hard bed with plastic on it. Room was only ok. Totally different than the times that we have stayed here in the past. We got put in a pet friendly room this time and were told that’s all they had so maybe that was the difference. Don’t want to stay again if we get put in a room like that.

There was construction being done and so being on the first floor it was a bit loud and dusty but the room was clean and the bed was comfy! Great breakfast and cappuccino machine!

We had a short stay. Location is quiet and feels safe. Beds were comfortable. Very little breakfast selections.

I loved that there were vegan options for breakfast. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was not noisy and room was quiet for sleeping. Added bath mat for shower was nice. Chair comfortable. Spac not too crowded.

This hotel is simply amazing. The facilities and breakfast service are both impeccable, especially the breakfast, which is incredibly delicious. This stay has made me very happy and is even better than some luxury hotel experiences.

Abbey is always excellent. Very clean, great location, good food.

The staff was exceptional. The reception desk, the tv repairman, the waiter at breakfast could not have been nicer!

Room was fine. The hall carpets, especially on the ground floor need cleaning. There was some other deferred maintenance that should be done. We stayed here 10 months ago and these repairs had not been done.

Property is nice but seems a bit rundown. Staff is friendly and professional. Room had an off smell but seemed clean enough. Breakfast is extra, which seems strange for such an expensive hotel. Bar is a nice touch in Utah. Overall, there are better stay options for less in the area. I won't be back.

The breakfast bar was excellent. Fresh food that was replenished as needed.

Property was great minus water issue. We could not take a shower one of the two days. Staff was very upfront and gave us a choice of a full refund or 50% would be refunded if we stayed so we stayed. Staff was professional and helpful.

Had a great time at the Red Mountain Resort! 7 friends all celebrating birthdays stayed for 3 nights. We had an opportunity to upgrade to a Villa and that was amazing. The pools were great. The spa services were top notch and the endless classes were fantastic. The food was delicious. I have tried to recreate the Brussels sprouts dish at home.

I know it doesn't matter since this amazing place is closing its doors next month but I still wanted to write a review. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience this special resort, meet wonderful people both staff & fellow guests and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Southern Utah. Yes the resort is getting older but it has loads of charm that more than makes up for its age.

What a find! Was thinking we’d have to go to Sedona to find a resort like this, grateful we stumbled upon it on a visit to Snow Canyon State Park. Beautiful views, comfy beds, pools, hot tubs and cozy fires for S’mores. We were already planning our return when we learned they’ll be closing soon for a complete remodel. We’ll just have to wait.

We stayed three days and had a great time! We hiked, e-biked, kayaked, and enjoyed some great food both at the resort and in St. George. Our hiking guides Greg and Lynn were fun and informative. This was meant to be a reasonably priced stopover between California and Zion National Park, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The rooms were spacious, new and clean. Very mixed review mostly based on past experiences. This property started as a cutting edge destination wellness retreat. It was ahead of its time. The food was amazing but extremely health conscious. Now it seems they are trying to make it more mixed use. The problem is the amenities are not 5 star and it is also not as wellness focused as many destination spas. For example the restaurant is a normal...

The hotel’s condition is tired and a bit dirty. The bedskirt had stains, the couch cushions were worn and the hallways smelled musty. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Shower was super small, had a bench in it and only about 6-8 inches to stand. Super nice room and the shower was completely out of the norm. Was like a budget motel.

The room was clean. We bring our own bedding and when we were switching them out, we found what looked like two big urine stains on the mattress. We were in the suite. It was disappointing to see for how much we paid.

The staff at this.hotel is truly top-notch! Everyone from the desk clerks to the food service fellow to the housekeeping ladies was so helpful and accommodating. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. All in all, a great stay.

Pools were not very clean. Wallpaper in rooms peeling off. There was a weird smell.

The check in was great. The staff is friendly courteous and helpful. The room and halls should be cleaned. There was debris on the floor even a dead bug in front of the bathtub. There are several places where paint needs to be used . The beds are old somewhat uneven. But I got what I paid for. should be cleaned

The staff was really welcoming and very nice. You get what you pay for sure. The room on the surface was clean but their walls, doors, bathroom frames are really gross and you can tell it has been deep cleaned in a very long time. It makes sense with the price point, so don't expect a clean feel when you stay here. Definitely just a place to crash foe the night. No pet fee which was great for a budget...

Staff was awesome, but rooms smelled. We had to get air fresheners for the room. Also we needed to purchase new pillows since the pillows in the rooms were like sleeping on a pizza box. The towels had stains on them, and it just seemed the upkeep was not really a priority. If it wasn’t for the great staff there the review would be a 2.

This hotel is very close to the shuttle drop off, restaurants and main road. After traveling for 13 hours I was very happy to get to my room. The check in woman was very friendly and helpful. There were stains on the carpet. Breakfast was great and great for the entire family! Pool could use some TLC. Love having the pool and hot tub indoor in the winter! Need more staff over the weekends. I had to come down to pick up pillows, additional towels and conditioner. The conditioner was out the first night using the shower. Overall 4.2 out of 5 stars!

This property is our must stop when we are in St. George, we always enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi and the kids enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, staff was wonderful. We will be seeing you next year.

We had 2 rooms on New Year's Eve, and it was quiet, nice, clean and comfortable. I thought the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was organized and good with a nice variety of items. The hot tub and pool were refreshing and a welcome sight for our tired legs. The hotel is very convenient to eating places and stores.

Decent for a motel. Came on a 3-day weekend and pricing felt high. The bedside lamps in our room were finicky and took several tries to turn on and off. The temperature meter for the shower was reversed, but everything else in our room worked. Breakfast included Belgian waffles, cereal, oat meal, yogurt, bread, muffins, coffee, tea, juice, and milk. Easy self-parking outside.

Standard room with a small kitchen nothing wild. The kitchen looks newer and everything works well. Not your 5 star resort but it's good for a super 8. This room has a better bed than some of the others I've been in..

It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The breakfast was really good!

The service at Super 8 is wonderful. I thought the breakfast was nice, the room service was impeccable, and the front office attendant was very kind. We loved our stay. It is only one mile from Dixie rock.

This place has been newly renovated. The grounds are clean and free of debris. The room was newly renovated and is modern, very clean, coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff was always available, accommodating and very friendly.

The room stunk of smoke constantly... there was no breakfast as advertised ... the room was dirty and i had to clean the windows my self.

Arrived at lobby to check in and a sign said be “back in 10 minutes”…waited 30 minutes. False advertising for breakfast as there was none. Not even coffee and no coffee makers in the room. There is a pool but it was covered so unable to use it. The room was clean and bed reasonably comfortable. Furnishing were newer and the room had nice artwork.

Shower wall pulling away from ceiling, bedroom wall at ceiling had huge gap which a large piece of wood was nailed up to cover it(?) or to keep it from separating more (?). Old, dirty, extremely used sofa in the room, chose Not to sit on it. Have stayed in nicer hotels for less money.

The room was spotless with gorgeous views of the St George mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub at sunset. Amazing views! Dinner was spectacular, probably the best fish and steak we have had in a while. Did I mention the view from the restaurant? Gorgeous! In the morning, they bring you a lovely breakfast to your room. Second time we have stayed here, and it won’t be our last!!

This property exceeded my expectations. The rooms were modern and beautiful with great ammenities. Even a tic-tac-toe game. The view is amazing at night. Everything was perfect.

It was very nice, great views, centrally located, clean rooms a responsive staff. I have only one complaint, the parking. There are about the same number of spots and rooms, and people use them to go to the restaurant. So when you come back in the evening after visiting a national park, there is no place to park until the restaurant closes. They have signs, but do not do any enforcement. If they towed...

This place was very accommodating. The rooms are very unique and well decorated with a beautiful view of the whole city of St George from the balcony . The beds are very comfortable, and everything was very neat and clean.

Loved the view and quaintness. Room was clean and comfortable (King Room Plus). Only drawback was parking during the evening when their restaurant gets busy.

It’s really good for the price. Biggest complaint is that the curtain is literally see through. We hung up a blanket over the window.

The air conditioner in the room was very noisy and I couldn't sleep all night; the breakfast room had a greasy sweet smell of cheap air cleaner, which made it impossible to eat. Because I only stayed for one night, the room price was relatively cheap, and I arrived very late, so I didn't change hotels.

The hotel is next to the highway, the accommodation fee is not high and breakfast is included. It is a good choice for a stopover and those who seek cost-effectiveness. There are McDonald's, Burger King and gas station next to it, which is convenient.

You get what you pay for Budget friendly so if you don't care if the carpet is dirty the drapes are torn and you may or may not get clean towels, you'll be OK with this hotel.
