Baymont INN & Suites by Wyndham

If I could give it zero stars, I would. It seems as though the hotel is made of tissue paper. I heard door slams all throughout the night and noises that felt like the whole hotel was right in my room. I could hear every car that drove by and every noise from the parking lot. The room felt disgusting. The tub, ceilings, bed, chairs, and just about every aspect of the room was dirty. It had a weird stink and seemed like somebody sprayed some air freshener and called it good. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. I might have gotten more sleep. Avoid this place, if you can.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Toilet was dirty, burner pans in kitchenette were dirty with burnt food still in them. Room smelled of fresh paint but didn’t look like it. TV Remote didn’t work. Sketchy area with homeless roaming the parking lot picking up half used cigarettes. Expected a half decent place for what we paid but won’t be back. The AC did work well and the beds were comfortable enough.

Room was very run down. Needs paint and some "cootie" cleaning. Specs on bathroom wall and dirt in corners.. Toilet seat ready to fall off. Very long dark hair hanging from towel. Staff was very pleasant. I don't think we will come back.

I realize we were not a priority because we used a 3rd party to book our room but I had not spent more than 20 total minutes in this hotel and was given FOUR rooms, not by our choice either.

We arrived early and asked if they could check us in, the person was new so the manager was helping out and said as long as the room was marked as clean - we could check in. They checked me into room 106 but when I got there it was not fit for occupancy - it appeared to be mid renovation - how they did not know this when it was literally just down the hall from the front desk I will never know.

When I went up to tell them, I didn't have time to sort a new room so I said we would be back figuring that would give them plenty of time to get things sorted. **wrong** We came back 5 hours later (one hour after check in time) and the same new lady was there and acted like I already knew the room we should be in and that it was I was already checked in - which was technically true but had she already forgotten the whole mess from the morning? Anyway we were given room 118 which when we arrived was in the middle of being cleaned so not ready.

Back to the front desk and we were moved to room 217, got in and went to the restroom and as we were leaving the clerk was just about to knock on the door, she told us that we had to move because the room we booked was actually bigger (bigger than a 2 queen room?). There was a customer standing behind her who apparently the room was meant for. I asked if we could just stay and they said no, we had a bigger room down the hall.

Room 224 was not bigger, it was a single queen and we had a reservation for 3 people. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk she first said "my manager said..." and then offered me a roll away bed. Luckily, my daughter was able to get moved on campus that day so we didn't need the bed.

So after 4 rooms we still don't have the right accommodations. I very much looked forward to checking out the next morning. What a horrible experience.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The front desk person was not only rude, she yelled at screamed at me as if I was a dog! I have never been treated this poorly by someone in the service industry ever.
The bystanders were all in shock!

The non-smoking room smelled of tobacco. Light fixtures were broken. The AC is so loud that you won't get any sleep. The shower was clogged.

The breakfast is an utter joke.

The front desk lady closed the front desk and put up a tacky sign.....she was across the street smoking during the busy morning hours.

I am not going to waste more energy on this. Just stay away from anything Wyndham.

There are many airport hotels in the same area...Make sure you do not pick this one.

This place does not have a shuttle!! Their 800 number and their website have the wrong information. It's a taxi service that Baymont Inn may or may not cover for you, it seems to differentiate from one check in clerk to the next check in clerk.
I made all the necessary steps to insure there would be a shuttle from the hotel to the airport seeing as I was traveling with my child and our flight was at 5 AM. I then found out at the time I was getting in the taxi at 3:45 AM that I would have to pay for the taxi, even though the clerk the night before assured me it would be covered, however, the clerk the following morning said they would not cover the taxi, she was also very adamant about not working with me, she only gave me the option to talk to the general manager at 9 AM. I ended up paying for it.

This is the definition of misrepresentation. This place is definitely short of a polished turd. Pictures displayed on the web are photos taken in pristine conditions. 1 the pool isn’t available, dirty and covered. The so called hot tub hasn’t been operational in a few months yet they have it shown in the first handful pictures representing this hotel. Downstairs (near the lobby) a customer staying at the hotel was also looking and following pool and spa signs though the building. Just for the clerk at the desk to say to us while helping another guest “there is no hot tub no more”. I really wish this was said before booking for $57 a night (before taxes) $70 after. Then while we were upset on the main floor walking back to the stairs to get to are room there was at least 5 workers for carpet cleaning were making so much noise! Then as we walk by one of the workers said someone died in that room! So I don’t really know what to think as I lay in bed listening to people run down the halls and the occasional drunk trying to open our door with the wrong key.......all in all I have to remember it’s a two star hotel. So take heed before thinking about this half star quality hotel. Hopefully breakfast is better than everything else.
