If you purchase the breakfast package the offerings are great. Very good food. if you don't have the brkfst pkg. the restaurant is great
We will stay here again. The Northwater restaurant was very impressive, we ordered all our meals from there, the food was fresh and well made. The staff was great. Cleanliness is the reason for my 4 star rating and not 5. Just a bit too much dust, especially between furniture, on shelves and along baseboards. But overall cleanliness was good enough for us to feel comfortable staying again. Hopefully...
I was placed here by my employer for a job at P66 and the room was excellent! The bed was a separate space from the living area. We had a couch, 2 TV's (one in each room) and a small area for making our lunches. I am pretty sure I would not need a room like this when I travel, but if you do need a room like this I do recommend staying here.
Room was nice and comfy. Location was good in terms of access to the freeway. Noise from the airport was minimal. The hotel pantry was a bit sparse in options, and a few times I had to wait for quite awhile for a front desk attendant to arrive to help with purchases. Check in was smooth and simple.
Excellent hotel. The front desk staff were super accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The restaurant staff were friendly and provided great service. On top of this, the area feels super safe and away from the shenanigans of Bellingham.

this hotel is nice and my room was quiet, the breakfast was good
Excellent stay here. Free parking for guests, free very decent breakfast and a gym to be proud of. Free guest self service laundry too! Will stay again.
Got checked in by two young gentleman, Max and another. Great customer service and they let us borrow some cards to enhance our experience. Leah, the bartender in the Chuckanut was awesome. She was quick, polite and very attentive. The housekeepers were polite and smiling while we passed by and the rooms were well kept.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while enjoying beautiful Bellingham. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and fairly exclusive to the Marriott brand due to the program benefits. I’m fairly picky and generally prefer the luxury Marriott brands for the amenities, but even so, we feel so grateful that we found and chose Springhill Suites Bellingham for this stay! The hotel was impeccably clean and...
Really nice place to stay. Breakfast options were pretty good. Had nice prepared breakfast sandwiches each day. The OJ was a bit thin one day. Parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle.
While in Bellingham two weeks for work I had a great stay at the Springhill Suites. The entire property was very clean and the service was exceptional! The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. Acknowledgement to Yosef at the front desk for having a great attitude and exceptional customer service!

Hotel is clean and nice. It is super close to the border. There are nice shops and an American restaurant nearby. Wonderful!
This hotel felt very clean and safe. We had a great stay with zero issues. The staff was very friendly, the free breakfast was above average and the bidet in the bathroom was an unexpected delight! I highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was OK. Location wasn't an issue for us because we just wanted to relax. We drove to anything we wanted to do or see
Good breakfast options, low fat & regular. Coffee is drinkable but not spectacular. The breakfast area is too crowded. The work out area is different (you must work out next door in a gym). The floor above our room squeaky. No upgrade even though my hubby is a status member. The pool is small, good enough for one and the hot tub is tepid not hot.
It was a excellent experience. We where a little early for check in. They had no problem on get us in are Tom a hour early. The breakfast was great and the staff was amazing!!
Stayed a night here and it was an overall good experience. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was ok, your basic hotel options. The room and hotel were exceptionally clean. The reason why it’s only 4 stars and not 5, was the lack of sound proofing. I could hear people using the side door, and even people talking in the lobby. Other than that, it was great. Would stay here again!

Sonya checked us in with a smile and utmost consideration. She took our special requests and made it happen without a second question. My wife, two medium sized dogs and I were very happy staying here. We were given a room right by the back door in order to walk our dogs to the designated pet area, which was perfect!
Staff was excellent to deal with! Trouble booking and joining the Red Lion rewards plan because the computers were down. The night staff was most helpful helping me deal with an over booking. The GuestHouse Bellingham is my go-to place to stay when we visit family in the area!
Obviously the remodeling paid off. Awesome and clean place to stay, super friendly staff and very comfortable room we stayed in. In fact, we liked it so much we booked another night. We paid 1.5 times more for a gross room at another place the night before and so happy we found GH inn as our go to for an easy trip to the mountain for some skiing.
I was a little concerned about some of the bad reviews but it's exactly what they advertise which is a reasonable place to stay no frills. Kudos for upgrading furnishings. You can tell they are trying. Bed is comfortable, room is clean, TV works. Smells like smoke a little bit, but some older hotels all have that. The bathrooms need an update as well and hopefully that's next on the list.
We’ve been coming here for years and have always reckoned that it’s the best value for staying close to downtown Bellingham. Plus free breakfast and a hot tub, what can go wrong? Well it’s been downhill over the past couple years with the hot tub ‘broken’ about half of our visits, and this time the Wifi was either garbage or broken. Been our go to place for years but we probably won’t be coming back...
The room was a little small, but clean and comfortable. The location right off I5 was convenient and close to downtown. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. We didn't have the breakfast, but it was nice that it was available. I also liked the fact that dogs are allowed to stay.

The environment is elegant and comfortable, the facilities are complete, comfortable and spacious, it is clean and tidy, the price is reasonable, the service staff is amiable and the service is considerate, it is worthy of attention!
We enjoyed our stay at this location, the trip.com representative was extremely helpful for booking this hotel stay last minute.
The Grand Suites facility was nice. It was asvlean and quiet, with friendly staff. I was only there for 2 hours for a Union meeting, but the conference room was satisfactory for the task.
It was pretty okay. The biscuits and gravy were good not great and the bananas were straight up green, but hey, free breakfast. I was pretty dismayed to find leftover coffee in the coffee maker on the 2nd morning of my stay. I didn't use the coffee maker the first day at all. So. That's kinda gross. I told the staff and they said, and I quote, "Hahaha, sorry." So that's the vibe.
The staff members working at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated how they treated my wife and son. Also, the room was comfortable and much larger than I had anticipated considering the price. Altogether, this hotel was an excellent value.
Spacious suites, clean and well furnished. They have USB outlets next to the bed that are super convenient. Reasonable continental breakfast, but not anything special; waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bagels, bananas, coffee, juice, but stay away from the powdered eggs.

Breakfast was poor. Muffins were dry and tasteless. Apples 🍎 ok
A fun quaint and lovely place with a view of the ocean. A cozy fireplace made it perfect! Very nice staff. Clean and modern rooms.
Lovely rooms, great location!! Our first guest service member was awesome!! Warm, inviting and helpful, the one that checked us in at 2 was rude and dismissive. Luckily we were around and about most of our stay. PS the arrogant and uppity redheaded bartender at the adjoining pub (Galloway's) was not a great way to end our evening.. bad food and even worse service!
This is the second visit to the Fairhaven Inn for our annual mom/daughter getaway. Two comfy queen beds, a waterside view, nice balcony, a fridge for snacks and it is QUIET!!!! Lovely place to stay and would not hesitate to recommend to others. We also enjoyed the evening complimentary glass of wine in the library and the rooftop deck to enjoy it! And walkable to nice restaurants and shops.
This is a lovely place to stay. Our waterside room was spacious and inviting. The hotel is well built and the rooms are quietly private. Our second stay - will visit again !
My sister and I love to stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn at least once a year. It's our little getaway from dishes, laundry and bedtime stories. We love several of the restaurants that are nearby and we always run across the sound of live music spilling out of one venue or another. The harbor view from the room we like to book is lovely. Very nice but not much to do at the hotel itself. And the jet tubs in the room are pretty small. I think it should at least come with bubbles or a bath bomb if it's the presidential suit.
I always struggle with eating breakfast in the morning, and their food selection was very good and made it easy for me to eat a full breakfast. The people working there were friendly and helpful. Stayed a week total there. Staff was helpful and pleasant, but not very tidy. Room was clean at one point, but not before my stay. Good free breakfast in AM. RIGHT NEXT TO A CASINO / BAR.... so lots of traffic, and transients floating in the parking lot ... I give it a 2 out of 10. They got one point just for participating, the other is more encouragement rather than a mark of achievement....
Bold .bright and nice our room has a micawave ,ice box. Coffer pot iron send board besides a TV .
Not good, but not horrible. Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was spotty and disconnected constantly, and the bathroom left much to be desired. This hotel lets locals rent weekly, so there are some shady people. BUT... For the price, such things can be forgiven.
We had to find a temporary place till our rental was avaiiable. The Roadway Inn was our choice in the dark and Im so happy we chose them. There was so much about this stay that was great. The room was newly remodeled and really nice THE BEDS were super comfortable! THE Shining STAR was the staff! The front desk was so kind. But the Superstar was RUTHIE, RUTHIE, RUTHIE SHE IS IN CHARGE OF THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST THAT WAS COMPLETELY MADE WITH LOVE AND HANDS DOWN THE BEST BREAKFAST I'VE HAD! I will be back!
I really liked the staff who were unfailingly friendly. I also liked the fresh cookies they put out in the evening. The breakfast was good and the staff showed me how to heat a tortilla using the waffle iron. The rooms were clean with nice dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Checking in and out was easy. Nice location near the freeway and airport. The pool is outside.
Lots of noise from other guests in the hall. Not yelling, just normal conversations but we could hear them clearly. Soundproofing is sorely needed. I'm a sound sleeper but was awakened before 5am by the sound of my neighbor's TV. The room doors loudly slam closed. Not very restful so -1 star. The room was clean, well appointed & everything worked. Elevators came quickly. Parking was a bit challenging...
Lovely hotel! Excellent service from the front desk agents and Jay at breakfast! Nothing is finer than a full, hearty breakfast and Jay made sure to ask us if we needed anything. Food was hot and fresh and the coffee was delicious. Clean, well appointed rooms with a very comfortable bed! Will absolutely stay here again on return trips to Bellingham.
This place was amazing. Super clean, the front staff was beyond amazing. The warm cookies were just what I needed. On entering the lobby I dropped everything and made quite a mess. The staff rushed over to help. I have never been at a hotel where I felt more at home. Don't judge my pictures I post. We are mountain climbers and our gear was all over the room. Nonetheless, the rooms were absolutely spotless
Great service and happy people who have a great Sense of humor. Fully accommodated us with everything 5☆☆☆☆☆ for cleanliness and comfort the beds are amazing and bed spreads are clean fresh and comfy

We liked our room, the pool and the restaurant and location
Very comfortable room, and the bed was wonderful! Everything was very nice, and I would stay again. A caution, though, is that while you're there, things are expensive!! An older on-demand movie is $20 on the room TV, and the breakfast service is expensive as well. $4 for cereal, for instance. The coffee is free and quite good. The folks working there are very nice.
Probably the best place to stay in Bellingham for the money. My wife and I have stayed here dozens of times over the years and any issues were quickly taken care of. The location is great. We've stayed at the Sheraton in Anchorage Alaska dozens of times and this place is very comparable. Would definitely recommend.
Great location (with easy I-5 access) close to the University. The staff members are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Rooms are cozy and fairly well kept. There was some mold under the edge of the bathroom counter and the floor of the bathtub was very slick and slippery. (It needs a non-slip pad or some treatment to make it safer.) I wasn't a guest at the hotel, I just stopped in to see the beautiful Christmas decorations. They are hosting A Festival of Trees, which adorn the lobby and passageway. The staff was so friendly, they treated my dog and I as though we were guests. The views from the hotel are fantastic and there is a wonderful walking trail that runs along the hotel. I walk here frequently.
Wonderful hotel! Bed was great, view was great, front desk staff is so nice. Room was super clean. They called me to ask if we liked our room once we checked in. That was amazing. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed at a bay view room on the 3rd floor and thought the room was nice and spacious as well as the amenity selection. While the staff at this lodging is amazing and wonderful, the state of their rooms leaves room for improvement. I have a bathtub but using it other than a shower seems irresponsible. Room was clean. Pool looked inviting. Grounds could use some freshening up. Breakfast food was not what was pictured on line... could be much better. Upon checking in the front desk staff was friendly and helpful to put us in a room away from the hiway. However at checkout front desk staff were pretty stressed and rude. Guess you get what you pay for. Not a bad stay.

The staff at the Bellingham Lodge remained flexible, allowing me to ship my bike to their facility. They were friendly and welcoming to boot! Thanks again to these folks!
The office staff were courteous and kind. The building and room had a unique odor. The pool and hot tub were out of service. The beds are not the most comfortable. A plus was the free waffle breakfast. One waffle per person. And free coffee!
The girl who worked at the front offered to make everyone pancakes in the morning. She was really nice and made the hotel experience great!
Nice and Quiet. Nice size fridge. Lots of outlets and places to charge my electronics. Friendly staff 24/7. Breakfast is searved until 10am!
Very run down, needs upgraded. Smells like cigarettes through out the hallways, but the room did not. Definitely need better beds and pillows. The owner here is wonderful! The rooms are clean and there are a lot of restaurants and stores in walking distance. They have a cute little gym and sauna that are open all year and an outdoor pool and hot tub that are open during the summer. I would have rated the rooms a 5, but the bed was not very comfortable. Too firm for my needs. All else was wonderful though!
Considering that this was ridiculously cheap price per night, it was amazing. The owner was very friendly, got us checked in and checked out very quickly. Despite being right next to a big road it was fairly quiet at night. There are slight chips and scratches on furniture and countertops which show its age, but sanitation-wise it was extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again

First of all this is not a motel where people are living on a continuous basis. Therefore the suspicion level is low because clients are limited to normal travelling customers. And the staff was sincere and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The surrounding area was quiet and seems very safe.
I have stayed here off and on for the last 6 months and have come to know the staff, and they have at times bent over backwards to accommodate me. The team at the Heliotrope went above and beyond to accommodate my stay on a tight timeline. They were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was train noise and a lack of in-room amenities such as coffee and the incidental toiletries one might expect from a room at its price...
Wonderful aesthetic! Was refreshing to be in a well done, low key small hotel vs the large commercial establishments. Tucked away in a neighborhood felt very safe! The bedding, pillows and mattress were super comfy. Overall a great experience!
I came to visit my daughter who is at Western. I typically stay closer to her place, but it was booked up so I chose the Heliotrope as an alternative and I am so happy I did! Reasonabily priced, clean, quiet, and cozy. I slept really well and that does not happen often when I am away from home. I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in Mt. Baker and with two teens it was great they could each have their own bed . They both wanted to buy the sofa style futons for their rooms at home. Great vibes abound here. The property is fun to chill at. The picnic table in the sun out front is a lovely place to sip morning coffee.
