Room was okay with the exception of the numerous hairs on my sheets that weren't mine. Shower was very good, nice pressure and the bed was comfortable. Didn't have the free breakfast or the nightly entertainment package that I was obligated to pay for. Didn't feel comfortable walking around after dark due to high homeless numbers in the area.

The first staff member that checked us in flung both my ID and debit card and hotel keys at us on the counter instead of just handing it to us. There was one (1) visibly soiled towel available. I did love Rosie's food, but next time I can just go there without staying at this "hotel".

I’ve stayed twice already and would recommend over and over. I actually just booked for February for my daughter and her husband as a little getaway. Love the location, staff was really friendly, room was great ,breakfast was good and is conveniently located to so much with in walking distance. I will be back again that is for sure. Thank you for providing such a good experience.

Service was great from both the front desk person and the bartender, but the building and room itself is very outdated. I thought it was odd that they had ear plugs for guests in the room, but during the night and into the early morning u quickly realized why! Not only are the walls "paper tub" the stove around the complex abs from other rooms actually reverberates throughout your room! Foot steps, balls bouncing, crashing upstairs neighbors, loud kiss in the early morning, made for a rough morning. If you're not a sensitive sleeper, you'll probably be fine. The beds weren't terribly uncomfortable, I just couldn't sleep well with the noise. There are also a few additional fees when you show up, $5 for parking and a mandatory $10 bar credit. You get two drinks for the $10 which is more than reasonable, but it's worth mentioning you'll be playing another $20 ish dollars with tax plus a $75 deposit.

Room and staff were fine, but they held half of my deposit with no receipt provided to the email I gave at the front desk explaining the charges, I did park onsite but was told it was free, not sure what I was billed for. Not a good business tactic, I won't be back because of this

The room wasn’t very clean, there was hair on the back of the door and the walls were dirty, though the bedding itself was clean. The location is decent and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Parking is charged per night, and availability was an issue. One evening when I returned, the gate was closed and there were no spaces left. It seems they issue more parking passes than there are spots. I had to call security, who opened the gate and had me squeeze my car into a motorcycle-only space. It was extremely tight, but better than nothing.

On a positive note, the woman at the front desk was great. The area is loud, but earplugs are provided in the room, which helped. Overall, it was fine for a cheap stay, definitely has pros and cons, but largely what I expected given the rating.

The room could have been a little cleaner. Still gave 5 stars for everything else that this place is! Complimentary drink at the bar and breakfast at Rosie's next door. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was phenomenal!!!

Waaay cool! Historical steam plant with much of the original equipment still in place. Offices shops and a restaurant also in the mix. A wonderful job of converting and preservation of this old building...with more on the way. 10 stars go to the owner and construction workers!

Wild sage is very nice restaurant in downtown Spokane. Their food is on the expensive side and the portions are relatively small. They have the best desserts downtown that are all seasonal and delicious.

The atmosphere and service are excellent! Great place to take family or a date! You can make reservations or take your chances (reservations are best). Have done several birthdays there and they set your table up great for the occasion and comp you desert. I recommend the burnt cream Yummm!!! Is open year around and you can set inside and try to get a window seat and in summer there is an outer deck looking over the river and city is open air and very nice.

We had the Restaurant Week selections, which were quite good. Wine flight was nice. Service was very good as well. When I made the reservation, the phone person asked if we were celebrating anything special. I said "Yes, a birthday". There was however, no birthday cake offered. Well, then why ask?

Price is a little high for service but food was great. Beware they will not offer the happy hour with out updating their website, or tell you when you call and ask ahead of time. Drinks are amazing though

My son and I loved the food here it is just a little on the pricey side. This is to be expected considering it is located on the ground floor of the Davenport tower. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. Definitely recommend.

I'm not usually into hotel lounges, but the Safari room is pretty cool. The space is inviting and great for people watching. The cocktails are well made and one of the better happy hours downtown.

The Safari Room offers great service and fabulous cocktails. I would absolutely give them 5 stars if not for one little thing. My husband and I were watching the bartender mix drinks and sample them - the way that he did this was to use a plastic straw to extract a small amount of the drink and taste it. He then threw out the straws. In the few hours that we were there dozens and dozens of plastic straws were unnecessarily thrown out. This is not a sustainable system and we were disappointed to see that the Davenport allows something so wasteful to go on. Moving away from plastic straws entirely would be best - but certainly wasting them in this manner is truly disappointing. A new system should be implemented. This gives the message to guests that the Davenport is not concerned with the environment and sustainability

Given the crowds packed into the Safari Room, I expected it to be amazing. It was good, but not the best Spokane has to offer. For cocktails, you're better off going off menu to get a good drink that isn't overly sugary for the sake of a Safari theme.

Used to like it a lot and was a regular place to go... But... They made some changes that I'm just not impressed with. The lunch specials have stopped. And, the fixed price dinner menu is gone. What I used to enjoy because I could get a salad, entree and dessert in smaller and more reasonable size portions is gone and replaced with only too large entrees costing more. So... As a local, I now go other places for dinner and only stop by occasionally for a drink. Which is sad... It's a great space with good food and spectacular service. Return some of the things that bring in the locals and the 5 stars could come back.

Unfortunately there was a dispute with a customer, so I understand why the employee was upset. But the employee look at the long line and started crying and asked everyone to leave and said she's too upset to make sandwiches. As a manager, that decision was 100% unprofessional. There's a time and place for that. I was looking forward to a good meal on my way home, but that won't be happening because an employee doesn't know how to handle anything.
