We're so glad we came to Margilan and delighted we chose to stay in Ikathouse! The owner was so helpful before we arrived, helping us with public transport options to get there. In the end, we decided on a private taxi and he organised that for us at the best price. The room was spacious and clean. I can only highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse. The beautiful courtyard is fantastic and the best place to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms were good and comfortable. We unfortunately only stayed one night but it was one the highlights of my Uzbekistan travels.

Beautiful guesthouse with a lovely garden. The room is spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast and all the food is homemade. Friendly staff. Not many places are open for dinner on Sunday. There are 2 mini markets nearby.

Oasis of peace and tranquility in hot Margilan Beautiful colonial style house, with a wonderful courtyard where you can drink a chai and relax in the shade after a walk in the huge Margilan bazaar. Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent beds. Standard breakfast.

Ikathouse is a perfect place to stay and relax in Margilan after visiting bazar and the silk factory. The location is in mahalla zone where you will experience peace and quiet. Opened by ikat master. Lovely ikat fabric for sale in basement, and near the local ikat businesses and town. Home stay, not a hotel, but very caring service. Dinner and breakfast were served.

Stayed here two nights, room was clean and bed comfortable. At night it was quiet, couldn’t hear outside noise nor other guests so we had a good sleep. Breakfast was a variety of items including cooked eggs, pancakes, yoghurt, fruits, cheeses. Anvar and Zamira run this family owned hotel and they are assisted by English-speaking Alixon and Dior. Sardar was very helpful during my stay. He helped me with sightseeing, transport to the border and even dropped me off at the bus station. The room is very spacious and quiet. Amenities are good (airco, water heater,..). Bathroom and shower are nice.

The guesthouse buildings are located not only here on the map, but the owner personally checked us in, and was ready to meet us at any time of the day. Sardar is very helpful and friendly! We booked his guesthouse on the wrong dates (accidentally) but when we arrived he found another place for us that was clean, had great facilities and was well located.
