The guesthouse is an art itself - the whole room is magnificently decorated and lots of local design elements are adopted. You can immerse yourself in this relaxing environment. The host and other staff are also helpful. Definitely worth a stay if you travel in Margilan!

A welcoming and beautiful place to stay in Margilan, or to use as a base for exploring the Ferghana Valley. Run by a family of ikat weavers and located in a spacious Soviet era building with a large garden and lots of comfortable places to relax. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is quite spacious, and the rooms are really big. There’s also a nice courtyard to hang around. It’s a bit out of the way from the main shops and streets, but it’s easy to get a Yandex here and find it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ikat house. It’s a beautiful building and garden, the staff are friendly and very helpful, bedrooms are very spacious and clean, bed is comfortable, the breakfast buffet is delicious with plenty of choice.

Quiet and comfortable place to stay. Recommend for all who want to spent pleasant time. It's a bit away from the center of Margilan city, around 20min walk.
Surrounded by local people that makes you feel you are part of the town. It can be your base for Fergana experience. Beautiful decor and full of textiles. Their books placed in the reception are worth reading. I think many guests staying here like arts and craft… so maybe better chat and exchange information… Reception room can be hot during peak summer time, outside benches are more comfortable. Plus wifi works in the courtyard,too.

We're so glad we came to Margilan and delighted we chose to stay in Ikathouse! The owner was so helpful before we arrived, helping us with public transport options to get there. In the end, we decided on a private taxi and he organised that for us at the best price. The room was spacious and clean. There was lots of variety for breakfast - the yogurt and jam was expecially delicious! We got seconds! The terrace at the front of Ikathouse is so peaceful and relaxing - we sat there for hours that night. We were going to Kumtepa Bazaar (also highly recommend!) on the day of check-out - we were able to leave our bags in our room until we returned late that afternoon.

I can only highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse. The beautiful courtyard is fantastic and the best place to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms were good and comfortable. We unfortunately only stayed one night but it was one the highlights of my Uzbekistan travels.

Beautiful guesthouse with a lovely garden. The room is spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast and all the food is homemade. Friendly staff. Not many places are open for dinner on Sunday. There are 2 mini markets nearby.

Oasis of peace and tranquility in hot Margilan
Beautiful colonial style house, with a wonderful courtyard where you can drink a chai and relax in the shade after a walk in the huge Margilan bazaar.
Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent beds.

Ikathouse is a perfect place to stay and relax in Margilan after visiting bazar and the silk factory. The location is in mahalla zone where you will experience peace and quiet. There’s also an open air tapchan sitting area in front of the garden where you can even take a nap. The busy Anor Pomegranate Family Cafe Restaurant is just 10 - 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes by taxi. The nearest store is 1 minute walk. The guesthouse’s art and its very original exterior/interior design is absolutely breathtaking and is a must see and experience it’s great hospitality.
