We're so glad we came to Margilan and delighted we chose to stay in Ikathouse! The owner was so helpful before we arrived, helping us with public transport options to get there. In the end, we decided on a private taxi and he organised that for us at the best price. The room was spacious and clean. There was lots of variety for breakfast - the yogurt and jam was expecially delicious! We got seconds! The terrace at the front of Ikathouse is so peaceful and relaxing - we sat there for hours that night. We were going to Kumtepa Bazaar (also highly recommend!) on the day of check-out - we were able to leave our bags in our room until we returned late that afternoon.

I can only highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse. The beautiful courtyard is fantastic and the best place to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms were good and comfortable. We unfortunately only stayed one night but it was one the highlights of my Uzbekistan travels.

Beautiful guesthouse with a lovely garden. The room is spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast and all the food is homemade. Friendly staff. Not many places are open for dinner on Sunday. There are 2 mini markets nearby.

Oasis of peace and tranquility in hot Margilan
Beautiful colonial style house, with a wonderful courtyard where you can drink a chai and relax in the shade after a walk in the huge Margilan bazaar.
Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent beds.
Standard breakfast.

Ikathouse is a perfect place to stay and relax in Margilan after visiting bazar and the silk factory. The location is in mahalla zone where you will experience peace and quiet. There’s also an open air tapchan sitting area in front of the garden where you can even take a nap. The busy Anor Pomegranate Family Cafe Restaurant is just 10 - 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes by taxi. The nearest store is 1 minute walk. The guesthouse’s art and its very original exterior/interior design is absolutely breathtaking and is a must see and experience it’s great hospitality.

Opened by ikat master. Lovely ikat fabric for sale in basement, and near the local ikat businesses and town. Home stay, not a hotel, but very caring service. Dinner and breakfast were served.

Very rude (un)welcoming (angry look and disgusyed shout 'shoes!!'. How dared I enter the hotel lobby with my shoes on!? The location on maps.me isn't correct. I booked a room 'two double beds', but they are twin beds. Angry response when I pointed this out, and NO! when I asked if they had a room with a double bed. Too short for me, bad night's rest. Bad mattresses, no blinds. Check-out took 25 minutes (look for a receptionist, look for pencil, stamp, paperwork, no Visa, but also no change...

Positive:

It is probably one the best hotels we have ever stayed. The room was huge and was decorated typically. The garden was super relaxing.

The staff was very attentive and professional. We were offered to have dinner for free as we were a few guests and they could invite us. Bottled water provided for free as well.

The hotel is 2km away from Yodgorlik Silk Factory
