SaiGonCuCu Hotel Near Bui Vien Town in Ho Chi Minh

stayed in a private room. pictures are overexposed and not true to reality. the room was very dirty - the walls and fan were covered in a thick dust (big black dust bunnies). The mattress was filled with dust mites and became a health hazard. when i slept i could feel the dust in my throat and lungs and i was coughing nonstop. as soon as i stepped outside it subsided. The curtains were also coated with dust. the street is very loud, there is a neon light that shines through the curtains, and the balcony door does not close properly so you are guaranteed to not get a good rest.

The bathroom was clean enough and thankfully i did not see any bugs.

Very noisy. Beds like prison issue. Shower in the room with separated foggy glass. Not great for girls. Better options out there.

Our room was 101. It looked nothing like the pictures. Lots of mold and water damage on the walls, small blood stains on the sheets and a massive cockroach in the bathroom, crawling around as soon as we got there. Also a toilet the constantly gurgled. We booked 4 nights here. We arrived at about 1:00 am so we spent one night there and checked out the next morning. I tired to leave a review on hostel world but since we “canceled” we can’t leave a review there. Our lady was kind but this place was greatly misrepresented. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has good reviews. I have been traveling south East Asia for about 2 months and this is by far the worst place we stayed. I don’t normally leave reviews like this for anything but hopefully someone won’t be like me and book here thinking they would get a nice clean place.
