I used this hotel for my stay in Hanoi. The location was excellent, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining out. Although the surrounding area was bustling, my room was relatively quiet, allowing me to relax and rest well.
The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. They handled English communication without any issues and answered my questions thoroughly. The room was kept clean, and both the shower's hot water and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Considering the price, I think the quality was more than satisfactory.
Overall, I'd say this is a great value-for-money hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi.

Lovely family hotel with breakfast. Excellent value for the price. The location is great, with intercity buses departing nearby and a market just around the corner. Tourist attractions are also close by. The staff are very responsive.

I was very happy with my stay at Long Hostel. Although the building is small, it is nicely tucked into an alleyway away from most of the nightlife and traffic noise. I loved the homey feel of the hostel with nice areas to sit and eat or hang out during their “happy hour” with some beers and fellow travelers.
The sense of community at Long Hostel was something I have never felt before and cannot fully explain other than the fact that many of us spent time sharing stories, playing games, or having a drink in their living room.
The staff all spoke very good English and were helpful with everything from directions to booking transportation and tours to recommendations in the area. I also felt as though they were genuinely caring individuals that weren’t only motivated by making money off of tourists like so many other Vietnamese business owners seem to do.

Very nice comfortable stay, facilities in the private room is far better than expected and location is close to walking street. Breakfast service is very quick and everything professional. We extended our stay and will be back again if there is space.

An excellent choice for solo female travelers! The private room was not only cozy but also spacious. The entire place was spotless, with plenty of natural light and ventilation. The AC worked flawlessly. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate to get your day started. The location is fantastic; you can walk everywhere. Despite being so central, the hostel is located down a clean and quiet alley, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I 100% recommend this hostel!
