Anh Duy Hotel in Ho Chi Minh

My unpleasant experience began when they didn't respond to my inquiries either through Agoda or directly to my emails. I specifically booked one day in advance to ensure easy early check-in and paid in full for a large room with a view. Upon check-in, it turned out my room had been given to someone else, and I was upgraded to a small room without a window, without a refund. I wasn't able to check into my room until the next day. The staff's attitude was terrible; not only did they not show us to our room, they didn't even give us keys. The guy at reception simply nodded toward the key lying on the table. And the cockroaches deserve a special mention! I've traveled extensively in Asia and know cockroaches are common there, but I've never seen so many. They're everywhere: on the curtains, on the pillow, on the floor, on the table, and even crawling all over me! You put your phone down, and 10 minutes later you pick it up and cockroaches are scurrying out from under it. It's awful! Stay away!

They're scammers, it’s a nest of roaches, the room I booked it was not the same that they offered, is old, dirty, humid, deteriorated, and full rats and roaches. The ranking of that place ir the app is totally false. I had to run out to look another place, so I need my refund. I ask for a refund, I they denied, so ask at booking.com but I still waiting

It had cockroaches everywhere. The whole building is infested. I’ve been in a lot of hotels in Vietnam and it’s my first time seeing cockroaches. For the same price or even cheaper you can find much cleaner and better room without cockroaches. Cockroaches were on the bed, on the shampoo, on my makeup and clothes, now i have to disinfect everything, i can’t feel clean, i am scared cockroaches are everywhere, i want to put myself on fire to feel clean. I think this place gave me ptsd and anxiety, i am scared to open bathrooms and see cockroaches all over there, i am scared to turn on the light and see a cockroach on my pillow. I had a lot of work today and couldn’t even concentrate because of cockroaches. I was shaking and crying trying to find a new hotel. Please avoid this place like a plague.

I arrived late in the morning, and the gentleman at the reception didn't make any effort to help with my luggage or change my room, even though I told him that's not what I saw and booked on booking.com. The review on booking.com was fair, but in reality it was a dingy little room, with baby cockroaches, broken air conditioning, torn bathmat and a sink handle that created when I opened it. The next morning I confronted the now fully awake and alert gentleman and all he said is that now he'll change the room for me. I told him I was leaving because it's not worth staying. There was no apology nor any remorse. Sincerely, booking.com should investigate each place before placing these types of scammers on their website as it's making me doubt it's credibility!

Scam artists of the highest order. Overcharged us (twice!) We paid by card but the person we paid with went off shift. The other employee refused to let our taxi leave, even though we proved we had paid. The room itself had a non-functioning sink (unusable as it leaked all over the floor), while the shower was only usable at extreme angles and very briefly otherwise it would flood (there was no shower curtain). When we mentioned where we were staying one tour guide grimaced and recommended we change hotel.

Worst people who are making Saigon, Vietnam a very bad experience, they scam and take more money and charge double telling no rooms.
1. They said my room was not available even though we had a valid booking.
2. Then they said triple share is available, but I’ll have to pay more(which I did out of desperation, because I had mention this hotel’s name for all my tour pickups).
3. Then they said you can leave now after making the payment, very rude people.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t book this shady place, run by pathetic people.

Already order online, when come , they inform this type room is full

We arrived on a rainy night to the hotel to the surprise that they did not see our reservation. The guys at the reception (3 boys) were talking and laughing before explaining us the problem, so rude. They never apologized for the mistake and didn't want to pay the transfer to other hotels.
Awful experience, avoid this place.
