Where to stay in Mui Ne

Good points : it gave what I needed: a private beach, 2 beautiful clean swimming pools (not too big but big enough) + convenience ( everything is around : local restaurants of many styles + western restaurants +spa +cafes+ shops+buses+bars....). Superb location right on the beach with a kite school on the property and several others near. Cocktails are fantastic and food great too. In the sea view room, you can indeed lie on the bed and watch the sea. Others are just so-so, the room is old, there is oil smoke coming from the restaurant below into the room, the breakfast is average, and there isn't much to eat. Kite surfing is very convenient, and there is a flat and wide beach in front of the hotel.

The hotel environment is very good. It is close to the beach and you can see the sea from behind the store. The only flaw is that the pillows are on the hard side. It would be more perfect if there were two pillows, one soft and one hard. However, the price is already very cost-effective. If you buy I will choose this one again next time!

Staff is nice and friendly. However the room is not so clean that we saw some trash under the bed. Another point is that the hotel has no lift. Eventhough we lived in the 2nd floor but it was not easy to carry all the luggages while we had to take care our 5 years old child. The hotel nearby is full of stores and street food. It is also near the beach so walking around is not a bad ideas.

You’re in the heart of great seafood restaurants, fine meat (matador), amazing sushi, and right next to sunset on the beach, that is known for excellent food.

The advantage of this small villa near the beach is that it is quiet. There are basically no people in this location. You can sit by the beach and drink for an afternoon. It is suitable for one person to relax. The disadvantage is that the beach is very dirty and not well managed. There are rats running around on the beach at night.

I had a room for 12 dollar. Don't expect too much. They have airco. Bathroom is ok, but not very clean, just don't spend too much time in the bathroom. The rest of the room is clean, with decent beds, although a little bit hard. They provide towels and the kids from the owners are fun to talk to. Have fun kiting or enjoying the sand dunes!

So-so, it'll do for a quick break while you're looking for a decent place to live.
