This was my second time staying at the Nikopoli Hotel. The first time was a year ago, with friends, and we just needed a place to stay overnight, spending as much time as possible outside, exploring the area.
In the second half of October of that year, I arrived in Abkhazia with my mother. For some reason, we didn't check into one of the nearby hotels. I simply approached the girls at the Nikopoli reception desk, unbooked, to ask if I could stay there and explained the situation. They immediately greeted me with warmth, literally empathizing with my situation, offering options, and telling me "don't worry about anything." And so it was – they found us a clean, quiet room with a balcony and a view, and included three (!) meals a day. They kept asking us if everything was okay and if we needed anything... Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the outdoor dining area; the food is delicious and home-cooked. I think if I'd asked for more, they wouldn't have refused. ) The rooms, beds, and showers are all clean, crisp, and fresh. The hotel grounds offer easy access to any point of interest, making it easy to get to any landmark. It's quiet at night, and there are no discos or other distractions.
Overall, I'd like to express my gratitude to the hotel, and if I ever go back to New Athos, I'll definitely stay here!

We were in this hotel from May 8 to May 9, 2025. We simply could not stay there longer. Although large, the rooms are terrible, similar to hospital wards. The walls and furniture are all in terrible condition. There is absolutely no view around, construction, some barracks and sheds. Parking for two or three cars, no more. And you need to drive out very carefully, you can get caught in the bumper. The food deserves special attention. The food in hospitals is better. They can’t even cook buckwheat properly. Just super economy class, I would say for the homeless, it definitely doesn’t look like homemade food. And you should have seen the tea and coffee - Colored water! Everything about this hotel points to its lowest level, it doesn't even deserve one star. This is a shame, comrades! But the most interesting thing is that they are also doing you a favor by checking you in there, the manager is simply rude! As a result, we found another hotel, and for less money we got more comfort and quality food. I definitely don't recommend it!!! Don't ruin your holiday!!!

The manager is horribly polite, as if you were checking into her home.
When we were leaving, our bumper was scratched; the exit is very high.

We stayed at the hotel for a week with a group of children in April. The location was very convenient, the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff was polite and friendly. The room was cleaned and towels were changed. We felt comfortable and cozy. Meals were arranged at a nearby cafe, which was a real help. Overall, New Athos is a wonderful place; we want to come back. Thank you very much!

Excellent hotel. The special atmosphere is created by the manager Marina, incredibly hospitable, you just get a positive charge right away upon check-in! The staff is friendly. The rooms are cozy, clean. I got into rooms with a balcony and overlooking the sea twice. It is located near the main tourist attractions, 10 minutes from the sea.

The fries were delicious. The shashlik was chewy, and instead of 300 grams, they brought 200 grams. I've been to other places, and I can see it visually. I didn't like the homemade chacha, but that's a personal preference. The kissel was delicious.

The cafe's atmosphere and ambience are pleasant. The food is fresh, varied, and everyone will find something to their taste. The staff is polite. I was especially pleased with the live music, two charming men sang all evening long, and the audience was delighted. We ate deliciously and danced until we dropped. I definitely recommend the Limar cafe.

We were there on 09/03/2024. From meeting to parting, everything was perfect. They immediately offered to go inside if you wanted, there was air conditioning and it was cooler. The menu was brought quickly, the dishes were explained clearly (Everything is like in Abkhazia 😆). When leaving, they explained about parking (how not to pay). I ate soup, and my husband ate masko with vegetables. The dishes are also good, my husband had a frying pan. Lavash from khachapuri dough is awesome. We ate our fill with two dishes. And then they fed the black swans with the rest of the lavash in a pack. Thank you!

Came in with a family, 4 people. No visitors. The menu was provided immediately. Sat for more than 20 minutes. The order was never taken. In the first room, the staff apparently turned on loud music for themselves and sat there enjoying themselves. I wanted to sit in a calm atmosphere. It didn't work out. The staff used to be more attentive.

Such an unexpectedly gluttonous lunch, I was rolling out like a bun 😁 I just ordered Lenten borscht, a small boat, and coffee. The borscht was sooo delicious, richly thick, with sour cream and (at request) adjika. The boat was gigantic (for three), but I'm greedy - I devoured it all. The coffee on the sand is excellent. The tables and dishes are clean. The cafe cooks are very nice and helpful. The prices are much cheaper, and the portions are larger. If you're walking from the waterfall or have come down from the Athos monastery, be sure to stop in for a meal. I recommend it.
