The hotel left a mixed impression.
Pros: good repair, good furniture, snow-white linen, water coolers on each floor
Cons:
- the doors creak (both the entrance and the inner one to the bathroom),
- there was a sewer smell in the room (though after voicing the problem, the manager solved it),
- the cafe next to the hotel only accepts cash, in rare cases you can pay by transfer, but up to a certain amount, then either interest is charged, or a commission is taken. At the same time, the hotel has an ATM, but a commission is charged for withdrawing cash. That is, the owner of the cafe does not want to pay interest, and guests have to do it for withdrawals 😔.
- cleaning is done at lunchtime, when people come from the sea and relax. We were with children and immediately pointed out that the children have a sleep schedule, but no one paid attention to this. They either didn't clean or had to wake up the children so that they could clean. It happened that they didn't clean for two days, until already at lunchtime on the third day my husband had a fight with the administrator that they didn't change the linen on the fifth day and there was no cleaning.
- the plumbing in the shower is not cheap, but already broken
- the water pressure in the shower also leaves much to be desired
- the advertised TV doesn't show - only the Abkhazian channel and Russia, and even then with varying success.
The main dissatisfaction was caused by the fact that they checked us into a room that was not the one that was booked and paid for. We paid for Comfort, but were checked into Standard.
The overall impression of the hotel was not very good. I definitely don't want to go back there anymore

Great place. I really liked it. Close to the sea. The most important thing is that there is parking.

We stayed at the hotel from June 7th to the 15th. We loved everything. The hotel is clean and modern, 3 minutes from the beach. 15 minutes from the central market. The staff was friendly, linens and towels were changed, and the room was cleaned as stated in the price list. There's a wonderful cafe in the courtyard, the food is delicious. We're planning to visit Sukhum again next year, and we'll be staying at the Samson! We highly recommend it!

We chose this hotel for our vacation in Sukhum and did not regret it. It is located 5 minutes walk from the sea, at the beginning of the embankment. There is a store nearby, 15 minutes to the market. The hotel is clean, with good repairs. There is a cooler on each floor, there is hot water. The hotel has an elevator, we lived on the 5th floor. Nice, helpful staff, will always help, tell you what, where and how. There is its own territory with tables and a canopy. Its own cafe, where you can eat at affordable prices. We were pleased with the ability to wash clothes. The owner of the hotel is a very nice, rainbow, helpful person. We were satisfied. We recommend this hotel for vacation.

Everything is clean, cozy, there were no difficulties with access to the hotel

Clean, close to the sea. There is a safe, equipment. In Sukhum, the lights are often turned off, this hotel has its own transformer. There are rooms with a view of the sea and mountains, we had a courtyard and no balcony. Clothes were dried downstairs next to the laundry. There are clothes washing services. Bed linen and towels are crystal white!!!! For me, this is an indicator of good service. They changed ours often because we were with a child. On the first floor there is an ironing board and iron. The hotel also has a canteen. On each floor there is a cooler with cold and hot water. The manager is a polite and attentive person who knows his business. Thank him for everything! We rested from September 24 to October 5, 2023, room 202.

The hotel is clean, we had cleaning services daily, and linens changed every three days. We asked for blankets, and they brought them. The only downside is the soundproofing; you could literally hear everything going on in the next room. If your neighbors' air conditioner is on and yours isn't, it feels like you're on a plane. The view from the window leaves much to be desired, but that's not the hotel's fault. The beach is clean and just 5 minutes away from the sea. The hotel staff are clearly committed to providing excellent service; they're very friendly.

The rooms are clean and cozy. They cleaned every day. Towels and bed linen were changed. The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer, TV. The hotel is quiet and calm. I would like to praise the kitchen separately. They cook deliciously, satisfyingly. Everything is clean, home-style. The beach is about 5 minutes' walk away. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent hotel! Very cool orthopedic mattress, pillows. The room has everything you need - hairdryer, refrigerator, dryer. Very pleasant renovation, the whole hotel apparently has recently opened, everything is new. Free parking on site. The building is 5-storey, there are modern lifts.
