Location: in the centre of Sukhumi, on the beach, on the Sukhumi embankment, 100 km from the border (p. Psou), 119 km from the railway station and the airport of Adler. On the quay of Muhajirs, gradually turning into the quay of the Dioscuri, the entertainment for every taste, national cafes and restaurants.

We booked the hotel through booking.com. Very disappointed, because. the information on the site is misleading. Here's how Booking.com puts it: "The rooms at the Ritsa Hotel have wooden floors. Each room has satin linens, a refrigerator and a TV. Bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer are provided in the bathrooms." But in fact, a swollen low-quality laminate does not fit the description of a wooden floor. Linen is also far from satin. There was no hair dryer in the room! Toiletries are 2 sachets of 5 ml shampoo and 2 tablets of soap with a diameter of 2 cm. With bathrobes, the situation was generally incomprehensible, there was one bathrobe and 1 red satin bathrobe, you can’t call it a bath. The room was large with a balcony. Bed linen is quite colorful, in flowers. There was no mirror in the room. Which seemed rather uncomfortable. The hotel is not suitable for families with babies, there are no cots, high chairs, elevators. Again, booking.com disappointed here as well. When booking, it was indicated that the room with an extra free bed for a child. Through booking, they wrote a letter to the hotel about the need for a bed for the baby. The answer came that the request was granted. In fact, not only was there no bed, but there was not even bed linen and a blanket for the child. We asked the reception about the bed and linen. It turned out that you need to sleep on a chair. Linen was provided after the second request. Breakfast is very modest. The hotel is conveniently located, in the very center, the room has very soft towels, there is no door on the shower and towels for the feet.

In my opinion, there is no better place for a hotel, the city center from the windows of the hotel offers a stunning view of the Sukhumi Bay and the embankment, there is a lot of diverse flora around

I express my gratitude to all honest, sympathetic and hospitable people of this beautiful land, it is so nice to remember, there are simply no words, the weather, nature! My God, glory to You, for this wonderful time, we were a family, ourselves from Chelyabinsk, a sea of fruits, vegetables, everything another, we were happy, thank you! I am sure that it is not worse now. In addition, we got to the concert, which was on a huge ship, GALINA KAREVA, a performer of romances, surprisingly, there were so many sailors! It was carried ON HANDS and carried away on HANDS in a white limousine in flowers, a sea of flowers! I have no words, then I did not understand at all what it was, with this happening ?! For what! Such love! ALL WHO REST IN OBKHAZI, I WISH HAPPINESS!

Large central hotel Sukhum with specific rooms, but not fully restored yet
Unfortunately, the living conditions are not very good.
They turn off the light and water at any time, outside the window plus 38 degrees, the air conditioner turns off, the Wi-Fi also during the power outage, when there is still no water - you can imagine how to take a shower or just go to the toilet. It was scary 😟 We lived with difficulty for 4 nights, tried not to be in the room.
By the way, neighboring establishments (a restaurant, a burger shop) have generators for such cases, since this is the norm for Abkhazia.
The presidential suite on the 2nd floor is large in size, the views of Sukhum and the famous colonnade and Brekhalovka are the best, living in the center gives its advantages. the decor of the room is old, the floor is covered with an old wooden covering, you will feel the nails through the carpet with your foot (linen, bedding, bathrobes, slippers, accessories - everything is there, but for the first time I realized what little things these were compared to the first sentence in the review.
The hotel staff is completely disenfranchised and useless in such conditions, they have not seen their “mistress” / director for a long time, they cannot solve the issues of light and water, they are waiting for a change in circumstances every time….
We tried on the first day of our arrival to establish channels for us on TV, success - 2 channels began to be shown 😂😂
Cheap minibar, everything is in the room
Breakfasts downstairs in the Vershina restaurant, we liked it, you order from the menu within the amount of 1200 rubles for a family of 4 people and then pay extra.
There are many restaurants nearby (I recommend Naarta - a popular place, Mukhus - an atmospheric chamber restaurant, Ertsakh - a pretentious huge well-known institution, they did not deliberately go to Leon - you can eat European cuisine at home) and of course attractions nearby (theaters, closed in summer, botanical garden, embankment )
It is better to go to the beach in Mocha beach / taxi 150 rubles, 3-5 minutes
It is better to take a taxi to the Reception, good air-conditioned cars
It's a long way from Sukhum to go to the mountains or lakes, we only visited Chernigovka Assur - I highly recommend it, waterfalls, coolness, a font, 20-30 minutes by taxi nearby.

This is a complete g… .o, not a hotel !!!! Today on 6.08.21 a man died in room 202 due to non-working air conditioners !!!!! Conders do not work, there is a stench in the room, it seems clean, but this is at first glance !!! In the room after 8 am it is impossible to be ... stuffiness, stench, heat (((((who are interested in survival quests, then mercy please)))

Expected better .. Number killed !!! The floor lamp is broken, the shower is nailed to a piece of wood and flows, it is constantly full of water, which appears even with the taps closed, the air conditioner is flowing, the mattress is huge and constantly rolls off the bed, cleaning is not regular, shower accessories are brought in once or twice ... decent, in general, the Vershina restaurant has the most delicious cuisine on the coast, but breakfasts are calculated at 300 rubles per person, from this amount you can order from the menu (porridge 90 rubles, condensed milk, sour cream, honey-50; cocoa, tea, coffee-50; scrambled eggs and omelets from 90; bruschetta from 280; etc.). Walk to the beach for 7-10 minutes.
