2 star hotels in Gjirokaster

There were 18 of us from Yongo tour. This hotel managed to put us all in. Some of us had small rooms but mine, No.103 on the ground floor was spacious with 3 windows but no balcony. Charming, comfortable stay Great breakfast. Parking was down the lane but we were able to drop our suitcases off first. Located on a quiet road and an easy five minute walk to the bazaar. Spotless bathroom and comfortable bed.

Perfect old town location Great location about 5 minutes walk from the bazaar and restaurants. I had a balcony with a view of the castle. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts in the conservatory were well presented and delicious. Highly recommended.

Palorto is a charming little hotel. Well located for visiting the Castle and the Bazaar. It provides a parking lot nearby.

Lovely staff team made us feel very welcome. The room was great with a lovely view from the balcony and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The location is perfect, a few minutes from the bazaar and its cafes and across the road from a lovely old house that you can look around. Recommended.

The staff is wonderful. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is fantastic as well. Parking is limited and the roads are tight. This is a very clean and peaceful hotel right at the bottom of the street that takes you up to the old town and the castle. The selection of local restaurants and grocery stores is much better around here than uphill. (went there a few month ago) The owners were super friendly and helpful. And the location was very good, close to almost everything. The owner reccomend to take a walk to the castle even though the road is steep. We're glad she told us because we found lots of gorgeous places on our walk.

Located in the new town area. Good base at Gjriokaster if one carries heavy luggage. 10 minutes walk to the bus stop outside the main road gas station. What can i say for this friendly and really helpful couple? I needed a room last minute just for the night and their service and attitude was excellent. The lady speaks 3 languages and maybe more so you will definately get a great communication. The room and bathroom were so clean i felt sorry to use them :D Highly recommended.

Good service with a bit of introduction of the manager. The rooms are nice with air condition and good bathroom. A must to check is the terrace with amazing views like the castle. Priceless

This review is for the hotel restaurant. We had passed through the village and stopped here for a little pick me up. Anela was on duty and was very welcoming and kind. She was amazed that we were from Bermuda and India respectively and even in English tried her best to communicate. The service was fast and the coffee and eggs hit the spot.

This place is not in the main tourist part of Gjirokaster and so the rate is much cheaper. The old town is not that far away and it is easier to walk down the hill. It has a Big market by the roundabout which is good for most pick ups and there is another supermarket soe 600m. The rooms are a bit old but everything is clean. The staff is friendly, but can't speak English. You will be able to talk to the manager / owner by phone and bargain the price. The restaurant downstairs is opened all day and the food is tasty for reasonable prices. There is also a free parking right next to hotel.

Cheap, Clean and very friendly staff. Not too far from city centre. English was difficult but we communicated any way we could.
