Gjirokaster, Sheshi Cerciz Topulli 5, 6001 Girokastra, Albaniya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Amazing views from the hotel to the mountain. The restaurant where breakfast is served is on the roof, so it is beautiful to sit and eat whilst taking in the spectacular views. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the old bazaar. It is also easy to walk up to the caslte. Room was comfy and the views definitely are the selling point of this hotel.
Fantastic location, 1 minute walk from the Grand Bizarre and 1 minute in the other direction to the cathedral. Restautants and bars are on the doorstep. Breakfast was the best that I have had so far in Albania with much more choice and food being replenished. The shower was not great, with water not coming out of the whole shower head but the room was good with a comfy bed.
Really well located, modern hotel. This hotel is just beyond the end of the road up to the town meaning you don't have to take your luggage too far! Modern hotel, stayed as part of tour group so can't comment on value for money. We stayed in a twin room, 3rd floor at the end of a corridor. Room was largish and a pleasant temperature, some natural light. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom, bit narrow...
Can't get any where more central, right in the square. Vehicles only allowed so far , it's a 5 minute walk. Easy check-in, lift temperamental, room clean and tidy, comfortable bed, decent shower. Only negative, there's no bedside light , bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast OK, great views from the dining room. I had a balcony with my room, great views.
Facing the main square Hotel Cajupi is close to many restaurants. The outdoor dining area on the top floor offers a panoramic view ot the town and nearby plains. Rooms were clean with consistent wi-fi access. The hotel offer a modest breakfast buffet. When I dined there the only fruit served was sliced watermelon. The coffee was also weak.
A strange hotel. Well located next to the old city and bazaar. Externally, the building is from the communist era, with pretensions of luxury, but with maintenance defects. The room we had had no view and had a wide entrance but then it narrowed to the point where only a small nightstand could fit. Breakfast with little variety, common in the country

A lovely hotel with very clean rooms and friendly staff. Well located too, just a 10 mins walk up the hill to the main streets of the old town. Excellent value. Recommended.
The place exceeded our expectations. We booked primarily to ensure that we could easily park the car. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, which made overall experience great. The location was also great. You need to hike up to the main sites but it’s pretty close and it is a calm place for sleeping.
Very nice and clean hotel! Had a great stay – super comfortable and really close to the bazaar. The reception staff were absolutely wonderful – so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help! 😊 They gave great recommendations and made me feel right at home. Truly amazing people and excellent service! 👏❤️
I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and I did a stupid thing. I do not want to elaborate just want to mention that the owner of the hotel showed exceptional help and generosity which I had not experienced in a long, long time. Shortly: the staff is friendly, helpful and the director/owner is a fantastic person. Thank you very much for such a pleasant encounter. Ivana Watson
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff truly made the difference always friendly, helpful, and professional, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented from breakfast to dinner. This place exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely...
I had a great experience at the hotel, thanks to the amazing staff. A very kind and sweet girl was always there to help me with anything I needed, and her friendly attitude made my stay even better. There was also a very polite and professional young man at the reception who made everything smooth and easy. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I truly felt welcome and taken...

We had a perfect stay at Kastro Hotel in Gjirokaster. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the breakfast buffet offered a great choice. We really enjoyed our time in this hotel.
This is a small and quaint lodging that perfectly fits the old town atmosphere. Service was amazing from the young man that sits at the front desk who was so warm, friendly and helpful. The room was large and had all the amenities. Only problem was the AC had a strange smell blowing out when you turn it on initially but apparently no one else could smell it so maybe it was just me? We happened to be...
Located at the edge of the town within easy reach of the centre, restaurants and bars. Our room was small but comfortable. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was varied and plentiful using local produce with the option of eating in or out. The family were extremely helpful.
A lovely family run hotel just by one of the gates to the old town. But in a quiet peaceful location with its own quiet shaded courtyard. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast served outside was excellent, with eggs & selection of fruit, pastries and jam
A beautiful hotel in a great location, just below the castle. Such friendly hosts, exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.
Great hotel. Right in the heart of the town but away from any noise. The beds are super comfortable and it has a real shower with a shower door, which is bizarrely rare in Europe. I’d definitely stay here again. The only negative is that it doesn’t have the view of the mountains like other hotels. Rather, a pleasant view of a courtyard.
