The food is good, but the problems are as if it were on the seashore, the service is bad, the waiter's behavior is bad, I don't want to visit that place!!!!!??

Clean room, great food and very friendly, pro active staff! We wished we stayed longer. One full day can be spent by the pool with amazing views of the old town! The pool water is super clean too! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and there’s free parking! Stay as long as possible!

Fabulous facility with stunning pools and restaurant with panoramic views in all directions. If you’re driving your own car, it’s a little difficult to access. Advice: park at the hotel and then take a taxi to any destination. Restaurant is excellent, with breathtaking views.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable, and each room has an amazing view. The pools are beautiful, and it’s a stunning location to have breakfast and dinner. It’s a fair stroll downhill into town, but a taxi back is no problem.

So happy with the service, food and drinks. Breakfast was amazing! Looking forward to go back and stay there!

A wonderful stay! The pool and mountain views were stunning, the food delicious, and the service exceptional. Staff were incredibly helpful, even arranging a reliable taxi service that made exploring Gjirokastër’s tricky old town easy. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, overnight stay, we arrived in the middle of the night and were received very warmly. The breakfast is fantastic and the prices are more than acceptable.

(went there a few month ago) The owners were super friendly and helpful. And the location was very good, close to almost everything. The owner reccomend to take a walk to the castle even though the road is steep. We're glad she told us because we found lots of gorgeous places on our walk.

Located in the new town area. Good base at Gjriokaster if one carries heavy luggage. 10 minutes walk to the bus stop outside the main road gas station. However, it requires about 30 minutes steep walk to the castle. If anyone wants to walk less, a bus for 30 lek can bring you to the old town at uphill. Owner is extremely kind and helpful. The best value for money. The host with the warmest heart in Albania. The best place to get away but still be in the city. Comfy room. There are lots of nice restaurants around but they mostly serve chicken and also other things. Its a long walk to the castle but there are taxis around the corner if needed. What can i say for this friendly and really helpful couple? I needed a room last minute just for the night and their service and attitude was excellent. The lady speaks 3 languages and maybe more so you will definately get a great communication. The room and bathroom were so clean i felt sorry to use them :D Highly recommended.

Good service with a bit of introduction of the manager. The rooms are nice with air condition and good bathroom. A must to check is the terrace with amazing views like the castle. Priceless

Located at the edge of the town within easy reach of the centre, restaurants and bars. Our room was small but comfortable. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was varied and plentiful using local produce with the option of eating in or out. The family were extremely helpful.

This hotel was a great pleasure to visit. We had spacious loft room 301. A very hot room in the heat...but air conditioning is excellent and quickly cooled the room. Great location for exploring the city with a comfy room with clean bed and shower. Hearty buffet breakfast serving home made products. Quiet at night, with parking located behind the hotel. Easy access to all amenities without bring in the busy centre.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

It's a simple motel for a couple of days' stopover. The staff is fast and friendly, good treatment, very good parking. There were no towels and the front desk resolved the issue quickly.

No elevator access to my room, which was awful. Not to mention key card didn’t always work. Lovely way down to the office after a day of walking. Really frustrating when you have mobility issues.

Very nice hotel...a struggle to find, but worth it. Clean and tidy, nice staff with good English. Large room out front was comfy but you do get morning noise, i might have preferred no view as we didn't sit in the room at all.

A charming hotel in an historic and well renovated period Ottoman era villa. The room we had was comfortable and spacious. There are level views from the balcony of the old and new towns and across the valley. It is well situated for the old bazaar quarter and castle. Amazing views from the hotel to the mountain. The restaurant where breakfast is served is on the roof, so it is beautiful to sit and eat whilst taking in the spectacular views. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the old bazaar. It is also easy to walk up to the caslte. Room was comfy and the views definitely are the selling point of this hotel.

Fantastic location, 1 minute walk from the Grand Bizarre and 1 minute in the other direction to the cathedral. Restautants and bars are on the doorstep. Breakfast was the best that I have had so far in Albania with much more choice and food being replenished. The shower was not great, with water not coming out of the whole shower head but the room was good with a comfy bed.

Really well located, modern hotel. This hotel is just beyond the end of the road up to the town meaning you don't have to take your luggage too far! Modern hotel, stayed as part of tour group so can't comment on value for money. We stayed in a twin room, 3rd floor at the end of a corridor. Can't get any where more central, right in the square. Vehicles only allowed so far , it's a 5 minute walk. Easy check-in, lift temperamental, room clean and tidy, comfortable bed, decent shower. Only negative, there's no bedside light , bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast OK, great views from the dining room. I had a balcony with my room, great views.

Facing the main square Hotel Cajupi is close to many restaurants. The outdoor dining area on the top floor offers a panoramic view ot the town and nearby plains. Rooms were clean with consistent wi-fi access. The hotel offer a modest breakfast buffet. When I dined there the only fruit served was sliced watermelon. The coffee was also weak.

Right on the edge of the old cobblestone paved streets of the city of stone. This hotel is very good option. Breakfast was very good. They do not accept credit cards.Bar service was also very good. We recommended!

Had an amazing time at Hotel Fantasy! Service was great! Breakfast was delicious! We couldn’t find parking and called the front desk and they were so helpful picking us up. This is a lovely old well maintained hotel at top of Gjirokaster with great views over valley and hills. Rooms were in excellent condition and breakfast was amazing - the best we had anywhere in Albania. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning. You can see it from the main square and it’s easy to get to by walk. But the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was great and the service was wonderful.

This is a beautiful hotel with European styling, lovely bathrooms, lovely woodwork, tea kettle in the room. Good water pressure in a compact shower so not for the obese. Plenty of lighting and two mirrors. Firm mattress and immaculately clean throughout. Excellent breakfast serving the expected plus cooked beets, beet greens and vegetables.

Located very easy walk to the Castle of Gjirokastra; Argjiro Hotel has been renovated to match the ambiance of the area with impressive and detailed hand-crafted wood working in the reception area. This hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Albania! The renovations were incredible. The woodworking and art were amazing and fine. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. This was an amazing hotel. My room was so nice. The breakfast was very tasty and it’s on such a nice street. There is a terrace on the second floor which is beautiful, and also has a pretty view of the street I strongly recommend this for anyone with family or friends!
