Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations.
The Wi-Fi did not work at all in the first room, so we asked to be moved. We were given a smaller room where the internet worked, but the connection was still very weak. Reliable internet is especially important for guests visiting from the European Union, as using mobile data can result in additional charges.
We were also disappointed that the beds were not made when we arrived, and we had to put the sheets on ourselves. The bedding had several visible stains, which raised concerns about cleanliness.
The check-out time of 10:30 a.m. felt unusually early, and we were surprised to learn that the minibar was charged separately despite there being no indication of this in the room. Fortunately, we did not consume anything from the minibar.
Overall, the lack of reliable Wi-Fi, cleanliness issues, and poor communication regarding extra charges negatively affected our stay.

Poor internet but otherwise great rooms and service. Highly recommended. Spacious underground parking literally opposite for eur4 for 24hours.

This property is 3 star standard. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms were cleaned but outdated. Breakfast was very basic, if you want to drink cappuccino you need to pay more. But the rooftop restaurant was amazing. Definitely hotel for people with no high expectations. Simple. Not bad for short stay, 2 nights, but no longer.

I should not go to this hotel without asking a room with a balcony. We have a room without a balcony. It is very dark. And it looks like a prison. There are bars for the window. The girl at the reception very rude. We will never go here again!

Amazing views from the hotel to the mountain. The restaurant where breakfast is served is on the roof, so it is beautiful to sit and eat whilst taking in the spectacular views. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the old bazaar. It is also easy to walk up to the caslte. Room was comfy and the views definitely are the selling point of this hotel.

Fantastic location, 1 minute walk from the Grand Bizarre and 1 minute in the other direction to the cathedral. Restautants and bars are on the doorstep. Breakfast was the best that I have had so far in Albania with much more choice and food being replenished. The shower was not great, with water not coming out of the whole shower head but the room was good with a comfy bed.

I stayed at the centrally located Hotel Cajupi for one night, and although it was Ok, I don't think it is a 4-star hotel. There is no fridge in the room. The electrical sockets are located over the bed (see photo). I think the room must have had a double bed in at one time, and they changed it to two singles.
They put 4 shampoos in the bathroom, but no shower gel. The towels were badly frayed.
The view from room 219 is awful (see photo).
If I wanted to use the wifi in the room, I had to stand by the door. If I moved a couple of feet into the room, I lost the signal.
On a positive note, the shower was good, and the bed was comfy with two depths of pillows.
The best thing about breakfast was the view. The food was Ok. Nothing special. It would help if the hotel placed labels by the different jams / preserves to give people an idea of what they are.
The staff were fine. I have nothing really to say good or bad about them.

Really well located, modern hotel. This hotel is just beyond the end of the road up to the town meaning you don't have to take your luggage too far! Modern hotel, stayed as part of tour group so can't comment on value for money. We stayed in a twin room, 3rd floor at the end of a corridor. Room was largish and a pleasant temperature, some natural light. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom, bit narrow but as a bonus the shower was powerful and had adjustable temperature control! Two bottles of complimentary water. From here you can walk easily (uphill!) to all of the shops and sights of this lovely town. My favourite thing about the hotel was the rooftop restaurant; ate here the first night we got here as we were tired and it was late - pleasantly surprised by the quality and reasonable price of the food. There is an outside eating area and you can get drinks served too here. Fab view of the modern town below and up towards the historic part of town too. Lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby and a small Greek mini-mart up and first right. Breakfast ok, standard Albanian: bread, jam, eggs etc but served in the rooftop restaurant.

Very near to the central tourist alleys but poor. LIke a two star in Europe although its a 4 star. Rooms very old. No practicable connection on the satellite TV and very few channels. One of the managers very rude to customers, doesnt know the concept of. Best in the area: the street dogs (registers by the town) very nice and cute.
