Where to stay in Odzun

Wonderful!! My family stayed at Odzun 2 weeks ago and not only was the view gorgeous, the people were incredibly kind. They also made delicious food making the stay top tier(thank you tikin Greta!) You would be missing out if you didn't choose to stay here.

Great place for rest. Great nature.

The food that they served us for breakfast and dinner was beyond amazing that it symbolises the true essence of what this culture is about. Arev, Greta and Vahram are genuine, kind hearted people and treated us like one of their own. If you wanna see what the village is like, this location is the epitome of a great environment to indulge yourself with nature.

I arrived late but the owner was there waiting for me. She understood that i was cold and maybe hungry so she gave me tea and some snacks. Since i wanted to explore the next day, i asked if i could leave my things. She was very kind and flexible.

The breakfast was delicious. The householders were gently and polite, I strongly recommend the Em & Ri Guesthouse for all kind of guests planning to visit Odzun.

Basic and not what you expect from a guesthouse. Grandmother is doing her utmost, but she is the only one.

Just great. Cozy place, lovely hosts (she speaks good French, and from what I could tell both of them speak good Russian). Clean rooms and bathrooms, beautiful garden (you might get fresh eggs from the hens they keep there) . Not far from the house you can start a beautiful hike that will take you to Kobayr though the Debed gorge. I definitely recommend it.

Our hosts were incredibly friendly and professional, doing everything to make our stay perfect. Odzun is a beautiful place, and so is B&B Sergo Davtyan. Clean, comfortable, good food and everything well organized. Strongly recommended!

The stay was enjoyable to say the least, the old style and antique items displayed throughout the b&b are interesting to see. The hostess is a nice lady who speaks also english, so it’s nice to have a conversation. Good place to spend a night or two. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the room since the beds are comfortable and the shower gives hot water. There is breakfast/dining room. The breakfast is good but dinner is to expensive for what you pay. There are nice restaurants close by where you can get a lot more food for the same price. staying at Iris guesthouse was very nice and welcoming! The room and the bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was also one of the best in Armenia. Absolutely uncomplicated, 110% love factor ! thank you and all the best.

Perfect host. Very nice Lady with knowledge of the region and people. She also has tips for tours and walks and can make arrangements if you like. Make sure to have dinner at her place, great food!!! ?

I really enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect on the banks of a steep valley. More expensive that a hostel but it was value for money. I can recommend this place.

We have lived in this hotel for more than a month, it has become our home Of the pluses - the price, polite staff, we were given tables to work in the room, this is wonderful, because we both work remotely and without tables in any way. We booked a room through Booking when we arrived nobody really knew about it. The price was also unknown to the staff. However, the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a breakfast offered, which was fine. The rooms are comfortable enough for one night. The hotel is not far from the main road, the access road is extremely steep.

I stayed one night in Vallex Hotel. This building was originally the administrative office of Alaverdi Copper Smelting Plant. After shutdown of the plant in 2018, this building was then converted to the current hotel and cafe last year. I really appreciate management and staffs effort for such transition which is considered to be helpful on promoting tourism and development of local communities. Hope...

A very nice, new hotel. Clean. The hotel is located in renovated former factory buildings. A major drawback is that it has no elevator, even though it's four stories high, and there's no staff to carry luggage. Free parking. Breakfast is very good. The restaurant staff is professional.

Brand new hotel in Alaverdi. The entrance is nice and elegant. They speak english. Room was nice with big bathroom and shower. Bed and pillows comfortable. There is AC, fridge and elettric kettle. Good price for the value

The camping is located in an outstanding nature, the camp itself is surrounded by beautiful mountains and cliffs. Showers are clean with hot water! Suuper nice hosts, helpfull and always available with great tips and advices. We liked it so much we decided to stay the whole week and enjoy the most amazing view. If we visit Armenia again, we will definitely come back!

Warm and friendly welcome by the owners. This campsite is fairly new and it shows. Well maintained. Clean amenities, spacious places to park your camper, or pitch a tent.

Great view and an amazing host that answered all our questions and gave us some great recommendations for our trip through Armenia. Coming from Georgia, it is the perfect location to kick-off your road trip in this beautiful country.

First meal in Armania with close friends and family. Perfectly cooked-steak compliments to Chef Estefan! Nice place and amazing view on top of the mountain. Highly recommending to try this place. We will be back if possible……………………………….

Really nice hotel, friendly stuff and the foods are amazing!!! Please stay in this hotel/restaurant when you visit Haghpat. The location is spot on, next to monastery. Thumbs up for Marry and the family hospitality :-).

Good value for money, the room has AC, it's clean and it's right in front of the monastery. Dinner and breakfast were made with lots of homemade products, and Mary and her family are very hospitable. Really recommended!

There are no words to describe the hospitality generosity and kindness of the hosts in Haghpat Hotel. We had most amazing time in every aspect. The location has breathtaking views, room is dry comfortable and spacious with all small and big convenience details thought through. Super hospitable and friendly service from Mari and her colleagues! Beautiful place with the monastery and the view across the mountains. Deserves more than 5 stars. Great food, breakfast was so much I did not have to eat for the rest of the day. Amazing homemade wine. Armenia is a beautiful country to visit and if you do, I can totally recommend this hotel and place.
