Great location if you are in Lori and want to explore the natural beauty of the province. The hotel is very clean and new, and both the price and service are appropriate for what you get.

Our room was big and bright with a nice view of the church. Everything was spotlessly clean. Sound insulation is excellent as the walls that divide the rooms are thick and solid. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We had dinner once in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Everything we ordered was delicious and we really enjoyed the meal. Good job and keep up...

Amazing place, delicious food and gorgeous views! The staff is very friendly and nice. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

I stayed one night in Vallex Hotel. This building was originally the administrative office of Alaverdi Copper Smelting Plant. After shutdown of the plant in 2018, this building was then converted to the current hotel and cafe last year. I really appreciate management and staffs effort for such transition which is considered to be helpful on promoting tourism and development of local communities. Hope...

A very nice, new hotel. Clean. The hotel is located in renovated former factory buildings. A major drawback is that it has no elevator, even though it's four stories high, and there's no staff to carry luggage. Free parking. Breakfast is very good. The restaurant staff is professional.

We spent a very comfortable two nights at this lovely hotel. It has a luxurious feeling and the rooms, beds, towels are ready good quality. Receptionists very helpful and fluent in English. Breakfast is served in the open air restaurant outside. Dinner also available there from an extensive menu. Recommended hotel in this town.

Kiparis Hotel

Lori Province, Alaverdi 🧭

Simply magnificent place! All and everything is clean and cared-for, all the utilities work perfectly, food (breakfast, dinner, coffee, jams etc.) tasty and everything with a special twist. Also the area is very beautiful and good for hiking.

Guest house has 2 triple rooms. They are very spacious, very clean , with all amenities and the most important with excellent views . The only problem is that the location is isolated, difficult to find and the road at the last 300 metes is very very bad.

I stayed a couple of nights in one of the cottages. Such a nice place, beautiful viewing from my bed, and soooo good to come back from a long day visiting all the monasteries in the neighborhood and get to a full packed table with. All local food made by the owner! It’s was great! ❤️ thank you sooooo much !

I have stayed at this guesthouse on both of my trips to Armenia, because I knew I didn't want to miss it. The views are great, the place is very clean, the prices extremely fair. Mher and Jula go above and beyond with making you feel like you are a guest at their home. Even just the dinner or breakfast they serve feels like it is a from a 5 star hotel. And they are both absolutely delightful people...

What an awesome place! Absolutely loved the view, the service, and the food there. The host is very welcoming, too. And the dogs were absolute cuties. 100% coming back.

Old City Hotel Alaverdi

Lori Province, Alaverdi, Jravazani Street 5a, 1702 Alaverdi, Armenia 🧭

A good hotel. The service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with the breakfasts. The view from the room is incredible.

A nice hotel in Alaverdi. Extremely nice staff even upgraded us to a more expensive room for free. The rooms are clean, and rhe food is hearty and delicious. They offer also lunch boxes. Would reccomend if staying in Alaverdi!:)

We had a really nice surprise with this hotel. We arrived late and were welcomed warmly. The receptionist didnt speak any English, but he called the manager and she looked after as. Rooms are nice and clean. There was as well a common kitchen. Nice place for industrial tourism and close UNESCO monasteries.

We have lived in this hotel for more than a month, it has become our home Of the pluses - the price, polite staff, we were given tables to work in the room, this is wonderful, because we both work remotely and without tables in any way. Clean, they clean the rooms on demand, the cleaner does not take tips, we lived together and they gave us a spacious room with our own shower and toilet. The staff...

We booked a room through Booking when we arrived nobody really knew about it. The price was also unknown to the staff. However, the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a breakfast offered, which was fine. The rooms are comfortable enough for one night. The hotel is not far from the main road, the access road is extremely steep.

clear and lovely place with acceptable costs

Hotel Odzun

Lori Province, Alaverdi, First street 85, 1704 Odzun 🧭

We had a pleasant stay and received a warm welcome from Greta. It is a quiet, somewhat secluded location; don’t expect luxury, but the service is excellent. Greta also took great care in preparing breakfast. 🇳🇱

Went horseback riding and hiking in the region and this was a great place to stay! The rooms were perfect and the balcony was a great addition. We also ate dinner here and it was delicious for a great price. Staff was very helpful and kind, always willing to help.

Wonderful!! My family stayed at Odzun 2 weeks ago and not only was the view gorgeous, the people were incredibly kind. They also made delicious food making the stay top tier(thank you tikin Greta!) You would be missing out if you didn't choose to stay here.

Great place for rest. Great nature.

The food that they served us for breakfast and dinner was beyond amazing that it symbolises the true essence of what this culture is about. Arev, Greta and Vahram are genuine, kind hearted people and treated us like one of their own. If you wanna see what the village is like, this location is the epitome of a great environment to indulge yourself with nature.

VL GUEST HOUSE

Lori Province, Alaverdi, 1705, Armeniya, Loriyskaya oblast 🧭

Very peaceful location with a fantastic host, who couldn’t do enough to help us, very hospitable. We stayed in the larger cabin and it was cosy. For navigation, follow maps to Iris Guesthouse and join the rocky track leading uphill, you will see signs for ‘VL’.

Beautiful nature around the place with an amazing host👍

First of all, don’t use google maps for directions. But if you do, you search for iris bed and breakfast and then take that turn off , rocky road all the way to the end and you’ll find VL guesthouse ran by Oren. It’s the people that make the place! Very international vibe of interesting off-the-beaten-path people. Much love to Arman and robin, a lovely couple that came for a honeymoon and is now on...

The guesthouse is located in a mountainous, forested, uninhabited area with no neighboring houses. The house is located in the open, surrounded by beautiful wildlife, on the banks of a shallow mountain river! The guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden with a variety of fruitful trees and more! The town is just 2 kilometers away along a dirt road, easily accessible in a regular sedan! The first...

We stayed with our family for a few days in the summer... An unparalleled choice for both family vacations and friendly or collective vacations. Rich nature with its wild and soulful charm. A wonderful welcome, simple, human care for guests, modest, non-binding and relaxing conditions, spacious area. A must-see and make sure. I would recommend visiting especially for nature lovers.

IRIS mini hotel

Lori Province, Alaverdi, Baghramyan 65 🧭

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The place was cosy and quirky (particularly our wooden cabin living room), the breakfasts and dinner were so lovely and Irene was a charming host.

Loved my stay here! Great hostess and a welcoming environment. Loved my room overlooking the river!

Wonderful host, who welcomes you in her own house. The vintage-kinda rooms with amazing view will stun you, let alone the food. Amazing place for walking or visiting the monasteries.

The guesthouse owner takes great care to make sure guests are warm and comfortable. She also helps with any travel you are doing. You can even contact her and let her know which minibus you are taking to the town nearby and ask her to call the driver to tell him to let you out at the guesthouse. The house is a lovely old place, like grandma's house. There are nice views of the canon from it and you...

Initially I considered one night but booked two, and then had to extend because I didn’t want to leave. The kitchen is always open to cook for you and the food is consistently good and affordable. The owner, Irina, truly goes above and beyond to make your stay great. As a solo traveler without a vehicle, the location would have been pretty inconvenient if she weren’t on hand to find me cheap taxis...

The stay was enjoyable to say the least, the old style and antique items displayed throughout the b&b are interesting to see. The hostess is a nice lady who speaks also english, so it’s nice to have a conversation. Breakfast is lovely with delicious pancakes and omelettes but for dinner it’s a bit too expensive for the amount of food you get, but there are lovely dinner options in the area ~Zarni...

Stayed there several times depend on my work, amazing place, amazing host, amazing service. i left that place and left my heart there, always looking forward to have chance to go back. Thank you so much, good luck ♥️

This is a very clean and spatial apartment near the center of Alaverdi with fully equipped furniture and facilities you need, especially suitable for family travelers who want to explore the area’s UNESCO sites as the host can help arrange good driver for you. Thank you, my kind and nice host!

We had a very good room on the first floor with our own washing mashine, bathroom, large kitchen and breakfast in our small but nice living room. Room was very clean, worth every Dram we paid and the owner even picked us up from a gas station and helped us to get to a hitchhike-spot down the road. Alltogether a...

It was absolutely perfect. Perhaps the best during my trip in Armenia from Gyumri to Meghri and back to Georgia. Room was large, very nice, modern, clean and neat. Very pleasant hosts, they did care. English speaking. Brilliant breakfast. The whole house is very nice and in a great shape. Private parking. All was just great. Reasonably priced. Could recommend.

Palma

Lori Province, Alaverdi, Zoravar Andranik 327, 1705 Alaverdi, Armenia 🧭

Clean rooms, propper breakfast and a very friendly host for a fair price. If you plan to visite Alaverdi I highly recommend the Palma B&B. Good hiking can be found close by if you are into that ;)

Very nice place to stay. The swimming pool is very enjoyable during the hot days! The host is very nice, smiling and accommodating! I totally recommend this b&b!

Very nice place, the lady is always smiling and really caring. Swimming pool was very enjoyable. Breakfast is quite basic but very tasty. Thanks!

The city of Alaverdi was very old and the roads are very uncomfortable and full of slit pits but this house guest really is like a paradise in the old city. It shines between very old buildings with beautiful garden yard and beautiful building. The owners were very nice and friendly and all rooms and beds are very clean and smells well

Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Bathroom is shared with the host family. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly. Pool didn’t look too inviting, which is why we did not try it. Breakfast was good and plenty.
