Asuka was amazing , my friend Nikki was injured and couldn’t do stairs . In 3/4 hr Jon, Steve , Victor and Jamie re furnished the massage room which was being renovated to a beautiful furnished bedroom , gorgeous bathroom . Wow guys , you knocked it out of the ball park 1000 % Thank You SO MUCH . Bell birds , peacocks , kookaburra s . So hinterland beautiful and so close to Byron bay you guys are incredible. Bless you for your thoughtfulness . Nikki and Pam

I would like to say, unfortunately our stay was somewhat underwhelming.
I get that it was Christmas Eve, and an unmanned reception maybe unavoidable.
The room was reasonably comfortable ,simple but basic. Although the broken toilet seat was a bit of a pain in the butt.
I was a little unnerved but the rotten door step that felt as if it was going to give way underfoot along with the deck in that area.
However, the view and the sounds of birds from the deck was pretty nice and relaxing.
Almost as nice as the complimentary cooked breakfast we paid for.....oh sorry we did not get that. Mainly because there was no one Manning reception.
Anyhow, would I recommend a stay. Hmm maybe, maybe not.

Easiest check in ever, super quiet and relaxing. Quick easy drive to the action. Nice clean room with a nice deck. We had a great 2 night stay

Location absolutely zen, but that was it. Room was old, broken, unloved and no attention to anything. This included broken shower head, tiles missing, holes in wooden floors that were mould hidden by trip mat. They said daily service of room didn’t happen at all in 3 days, no breakfasts available all stay, provide your own toilet paper if you run out, zero hospitality, cold hot tub, dirty pool. Very disappointed but can’t complain about service as there was none! Wished we hadn’t booked this place the minute we walked in as it’s nothing other than the seclusion to offer. Has a lot of potential if some love and money was spent and owners were present ever!

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Australia. All other hotels have been good or excellent. This one fails on every level. The only good thing was seeing a kangaroo in the wild on the road to the accommodation. No one was there apart from the young lady cleaning seen only briefly. We didn't even get properly checked in. Accommodation was one of most expensive we have had, room was ok but nothing special. Pre-booked and paid for breakfast for two nights did not arrive. Hotel promised a refund a week ago but still not arrived. Chased up via booking agent. Also e mailed direct and this cannot be delivered, and yes address is correct. Seems like they have closed down.

I was going to EXTEND for 2nd night. Then the owner was helpful, but he told me 2nd night rate jump from $162 book via Agoda jump up to $290 with spa room. Owner did NOT want to store my luggage and kept on asking me to take my luggage with me and pay money to store somewhere else.

Booked and paid for 2 nights, could NOT stay another night as the room smelt so Bad of Mould, was full of long term cobwebs and dirt that had not been cleaned in ages .. Broken lights, doors etc . After Confirming that they resold the second night . NO Reimbursement came after repeated requests. A Disturbing Experience . Until there's a change of management and the property is bought up to oh&s basic standards .. Stay Clear !

It is very PEACEFUL and quiet. It is a bit far away from town. After check-out the owner don't like to store my luggage. He was very KIND to turn ou HEATER prior my arrival. As soon as he found out that I was NOT going to extend my 2nd nights because very EXPENSIVE.
