Very understaffed on a Sunday night. Staff on duty did the best they could but definitely needed more people on board. O e person taking meal orders, delivering meals and pourinh drinks was not enough.
Fantastic pub, excellent atmosphere especially the friday and saturday night of the Newcastle 500 V8 Supercar event and Macgreggor vs Mayweather fight! Plenty of space both upstairs and down, ping pong table for fun nights, great entertainment and incredible affordable food! The $10 Snitzels are bloody awesome. The staff are wonderful and caring. The owner / manager i spoke to saturday night was a...
Food and service are great. 4 stars because there is always something even if 1% to improve from where you are. Overall worth returning
Want to thank management and staff for taking care of our group after the V8 races yesterday. Band was pumping drinks were cold. Don't go to the brewery this is the place to be after the races. Cheers guys had a great time

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Although I didn't organize the earlier check-in, the concierge still managed to give me the room for me. The valet parking service was very good to have my car available whenever I need at very short waiting time.
Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Their hall room was well equipped, clear sound through the speakers and note pads provided for note taking. Apparently for $15 they an provide all day parking and move your car off site and return it when required. It cost me more feeding the meter all day.
The waitstaff in the evenings at seasalt made dinner really feel like a special experience. The quality of the menu was very good, plus they have a large selection of wines and cocktails available. The breakfast dining experience does not reach the same level of professionalism, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a wide variety of food choices available, but the character of the same...
I really, really liked staying here. I loved swimming in the pool and I had a great dinner at the restaurant. An interesting book in the room had info about the BHP steel mill that used to occupy this site. I had a great time here.
The Crowne Plaza Newcastle is definitely one of the better options for the city if not at the upper end of the budget. The staff are very helpful although check-out is a bit chaotic with numerous people checking out and trying to get cars out of valet parking. Room service good quality and service.

The hotel room was clean, tidy, and spacious. It provided all the facilities that I needed.
Clean and spacious, but let down by poor build quality Stayed in a 1-bedroom villa at Jesmond Executive Villas for 2 nights. Our room was in the new apartment building, which was clean, spacious, and generally well-presented. The location was convenient and the overall experience was good. That said, for a new building, the construction quality was disappointing. The shower door didn’t close properly...
Overall good and convenient. Bedroom space tiny and one side of queen bed against the wall limiting access to that side. No hand towels or face washers.
The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and friendly staff. It is just too close to the M1 highway and a bit noisy, but it is okay to bring earplugs
I booked for 3 people, but even though one was a child, no bedding was provided, the sofa bed was dirty and shabby, there were no hangers to hang clothes, and the curtains were torn.
Didnt try to contact us via trip.com when there was a maintenance for the room that we booked, they only told us when we were there and blamed us for not having australia number. Asked them if they have 3 separate rooms to replace the family suite that we booked but immediately said they didnt have. Only after my brother came and complained then they told us they had 3 separate rooms available. ...

We stayed here for one night, so can't comment on anything too much other than the room. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with balcony. Staff were generally friendly and helpful during check in. The room was clean, and well appointed, however the balcony clearly had not been hosed or mopped since a previous guest had spilled drinks out there. Bed's were a little too soft, but were otherwise...
Big enough 2 bedroom apartment but the balcony just overlooks a car park.
Good hotel, sadly no longer doing a full breakfast service and are only doing a grab-and-go breakfast now, nice rooms
Location is amazing. Right opposite the water. Rooms are a good size. Shower is huge. My kids favourite part would be the pool. Have stayed twice now & will again.
Great location, only a short walk to the water and heaps of choices for restaurants. Rooms have everything you need and are tidy. Staff member on check-in was great but was disappointed with service when checking out.

Great location with plenty of cafes and restaurants at your doorstep. Nice bathroom and kitchenette. There could be a shelf near the vanity and a small table and 2 chairs to eat at in the room.
We love our stays here!! Staff are great!! Rooms are massive, quiet and luxurious.
Pleasant stay We stayed at Crown on Darby for a weekend trip and it was excellent. The location is close to everything and paid parking was convenient and reasonable. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly. The room itself was big, clean and comfy. We also enjoyed using the fitness centre.
A highly satisfying stay. The room was spotless.
We love this motel and will be back get location and has everything we need. Friendly accommodating staff.
We were surprised at the size of the 2bedrooms suite. It was a lot larger than we thought it would be, full size fridge and everything. We will definitely stay there again when stopping in Newcastle!Receptionist were very helpful and friendly

It is a very nice, comfortable house, with a spa bath, very good lighting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a very good option in Newcastle
Comfortable, neat, clean and tidy apartment with everything you may need for a self-catering get up & go. Staff always pleasant and helpful. A short drive from the beach & a short walk from shopping mall.
Quiet back street location next to a primary school. Delightful apartments with every amenity considered by a decent architect. We would definitely stay there again. An excellent place to call home for the night.

Excellent, exactly what we were looking for.
Great location within easy walking distance to points of interest. Spacial & clean room with.very good facilities
Had to call emergency after hours number twice to get entry to our apartment. 1st time when we 1st got there & our code didnt work so we were given a new one & 2nd time was when we were returning from our function & door would not unlock so it was done remotely by the gentleman we called....but other than that inconvenience everything else was fine.

Property was very spacious for a family of 4 . Very quiet. Great location
I like that it had 2 toilets n also easy access n a quiet neighbourhood n all facilities to utilise
Good apartments but customer service lacking Nice apartments but the check in process was disappointing. Asking for credit card details on the day, not sending check in codes despite me confirming who to send them to twice. Had to ring twice to get check in codes then an additional code was sent the same evening.
It is a really nice place, clean, spacious, and well- presented. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really like this property as it feels like home. Our stay was great, and we highly recommend this property.
Great accommodation. Very clean. Only problem was parking. Our car was too big for the garage and we had to park out on the street. Will definitely stay there again

I stayed here for 4 nights in July. This accommodation indeed lives up to the reviews. It’s not plush by any means, but is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The apartment is a two story townhouse. Downstairs is the main living area, full-size kitchen, laundry, additional toilet and access to the garage. The living room is furnished with dining table and chairs, leather couch, coffee table. Clean, spacious with all necessities required in an apartment. Great location for our purposes with good takeaway food close by. Have stayed here more than once and would happily stay again. No problems with booking and access process.
Great location, close to shopping, pub, neighbourhood takeaway food shop. Parking onsite. Very clean, laundry with washing machine and dryer. Kitchen had everything we needed and a large fridge. Check in information was provided before 2pm and went very smoothly. Each unit has a garage for on site parking. We will definitely stay again if we need a 2 br apartment.
Villas were awesome comfortable and private. Backyard as well, shower not great but would definitely stay again. Nice and clean
Spacious The accommodation was great for a quick family getaway, nice and spacious. It needs a pest-contol treatment though as there were a lot of ants around when we first arrived, some roaches and at least 1 huntsman spider in the master bedroom wardrobe.
Great communication. Hassle free stay. Everything we needed for a clean and comfortable stop over on our way up the coast and back again.

So far so good. The design of the building has cleverly incorporated the particular angles & slants of walls & corners to ensure that no one else in the other units can see their neighbours either from inside or from the private balcony Suits me for the time being. The cleaning staff are very helpful & friendly. A couple of standard items broke in the unit as in the hairdryer & the kettle but thats...
The apartment was neat and mostly clean. Unfortunately the area is noisy with neighbours constantly slamming door and screaming. Stairway is dirty and full of rubbish. Allotted parking always taken by others
It needed a little maintenance as the tap in bathroom sink was very loose and PowerPoint in kitchen coming off wall. Back courtyard would use a clean as it was full of leaves and gardens badly needed tlc. However it wasn’t nearly as bad as the reviews I read online. Inside was clean and had everything we needed. Parking was very confusing no one was in the correct spot and we had no idea where our...
A bit of maintenance and more housekeeping is required but the price paid was more than reasonable and i would stay again.

Plenty of space being a two-story townhouse. The bedrooms were comfy. You were close to everything and easy to get an Uber to get around. The only negative we went to make breakfast and there wasn’t enough dinning plates or sharp knives to cut anything. More glassware would be great.
The property was clean, roomy and well appointed. We had some difficulty getting the access code prior to arrival as the phone line was very busy. Management would be advised to ask the cleaning staff to speak quietly outside the units. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Great value for money.
Easy distance to the sporting venue I was attending on the weekend and close to shops.
In spite of being the front unit on a busy street in the unit the traffic noise was negligible
Very clean and comfortable in a convenient location. However, the apartment lacked cutlery in the kitchen & no globe in the bedside light. Would recommend checking some of the amenities
Nice and basic accommodation, no more and no less than what we needed for our stay, we didn't spend much time at the apartment, bed was a bit uncomfortable though, otherwise it was ok, will stay again as family live close by.

Excellent because have a big kitchen for cooking and an lot of room , Bedroom , bathroom ,washing machine and Drying Machine
People on the street can see right in bedroom windows as they walk past.
Room was made up nicely, but didn't look like it had been cleaned properly before we attended. Floor hadn't been vacuumed, quilt cover was stained, "droplets" around the toilet bowl, there looked to be blood on the roller blind. The main window from the foyer had a see through blind, so not the best for privacy. Decent sized room for the price. Great location. Called to confirm the booking and was...
The apt is managed by an agency which did not make an effort to contact you using other medium beside SMS. So, in convenience. At Aussie standard, the apt complex can be better clean - too many dry leaves on the ground - otherwise good place with good location.

Never been to the pub before, pleasantly surprised. Unable to provide a few dishes from there menu but otherwise really good food, pleasant staff & a good atmosphere.
Came here for dinner and drinks with friends after the revamp they have done. Food was amazing, had a Southern Fried chicken burger which on point and really good cost for what I got as well. Only part I would actually change about the burger is the pickle that was included - it was just held on top of the burger by a toothpick, would have seen this sliced properly and added to the burger itself
Edit : Has undergone a major renovation! Looks excellent. Staff are very friendly in bottle shop, restaurant and bar. Kids have a ball in the playground, which is pretty decent compared to most in the hunter. I love the restaurant specials, the locals are always a friendly and happy bunch. I'm always glad to go back time and time again.
Inexpensive hotel near the main road. Restaurant with tasty food for a reasonable price. Shopping markt and a small casino included. All the time lively operation. Pretty amazing.
Excellent. Especially the blond hottie working behind bar.
Shortland Hotel Bistro is AMAZING!! Only 5mims from Jesmond, service is superb. Always so friendly & cheerful. My go-to place for a good old schnitty!
