The nachos are good big portion but the guacamole is not good. I will never go back one day I just crossed and the cashier was nose-piking, just disgusting.

Very poor service and staff who were more concerned about their own appearances than serving customers, from the time we ordered and received all of our order an hour went by with 3 complaints made which made no difference. And really offended when asked to produce receipt as proof of purchased latte that didnt arrive? Would not recommend this particular store too any one. ?

The storefront is always unclean because the staff are always focused on smashing out orders; consistently understaffed to deal with how busy it is. Topping that off, the menu board is disproportionately expensive for what they serve.
The melted milk chocolate is always great as a fondue but when a business is built around chocolate, you'd hope so.
If you're there already, sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. It's Max Brenner. There's nothing here you haven't seen done better for less elsewhere.

Even on a slow day tables just weren't being cleared. Had to clear my own. For what you get the prices are just way too high. I mean $8.80 for a milkshake? When it was the only chocolate dessert bar around they could get away with those prices. Not anymore.
The whole place could also use a renovation as the worn chairs, with holes, doesn't go with the 5 star price tag.
Don't go if there is a chance of rain as half the takes are outside but the awnings they have are useless for keeping rain off then. That said, that is a complaint for many places at Southbank.
Forgetting prices, the food was good even if the chocolate was on the sugary side.

Very expensive compared to the quality and quantity. Also, everything was too sugary. Limited menu options particularly for healthier choc combination. The environment was good though.

Getting a seat was quick. Trying to put in an order much harder. Lots of stuff who seemed more focused on clearing tables than taking orders. Yum cha standard but have had much better

Slow service order mix up. Didn't receive part of order, but it was taken off the bill when paying. Food mediocre.

I've dined at the Southbank location twice now as a group of 10 for birthday parties. Once last year and again last night. Both times the service at this location had been below average. A long wait for basic cutlery at our table and placing orders. Just a frustrating experience in general.

Staff looked overworked and also had difficulty understanding our requests and orders. But the orders did come out correctly just very frustrating placing them. The restaurant is incredibly loud as well. Couldn't hear the person next to me, constantly having to speak loud the entire night.

Our poor waiter brought our drinks to the table and unfortunately dropped all the drinking glasses on the floor. It was a big mess and no assistance came from the other staff or management. We felt really bad for him.

The entire experience wasn't awful (the food tasted pretty good) but it wasn't plesant either. The service and poor training is what brings my score down.
