The decor and interior design are quite retro, which made for a pleasant stay. The service was excellent, and the hotel was very clean. It's in a quiet location yet still close to everything, offering great value for money. The breakfast was also very substantial. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel room was spacious, well-equipped, and reasonably priced, with friendly staff ensuring a pleasant stay.

Such an easy experience booking and staying with them. Instructions are simple and straight forward. Checked in after midnight and they catered for that even though they don’t have a 24/7 reception.

This hotel is a great option in Brisbane's city center, offering excellent value for money! It's a shame they're currently undergoing renovations, but I'm sure it will be even better afterward. Most of the staff are South American, and their warm hospitality provides a different and pleasant experience! Definitely worth trying.

The room was spacious and quite clean. The location is very convenient, directly opposite The Star, and you can even see the South Bank Ferris Wheel from the window. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations, so there was noise in the morning. Also, toiletries and slippers were not provided.

I slipped over in the bathroom on the wet and slippery tiles and advised the front counter on my departure. Supplied was 2 towels 2 face washers and a hand towel no bath mat. Travellers be wary of wet and slippery tiles. Subsequently I was 30 seconds late for breakfast and they were not obliging at all and left hungry. Happy with previous stays but have changed my mind now and not recommend this hotel

Stayed for 5 nights. What a great location! I walked to Felons, Southbank, the CBD. The apartment was clean, well appointed. I shared a bedroom apartment with my Dad and it was roomy enough we didn't get in each other's way. Will definitely stay again

It's mainly cheap, and the location is decent. That whole strip is backpacker hostels. Staying in a 6-person mixed dorm with two guys and four girls was a bit awkward. The English girl on the bottom bunk snored incredibly loudly.

The hotel is a perfect place to stay with. The only thing to say of the down side is the location to train station. Some time you will feel noisy when with an approaching train. But on the other hand, that could also be a good point for easy access.

A large construction next to the premises is conducting atm, noisy sometimes. This apartment is probably running more than couple decades, all infrastructures are old, e.g water supplies is weak, the air-con is not adjustable as you expected, weak signal of WiFi…etc. Compare with other Quest, this one is behind the standard inevitably.

We have stayed on a few occasions, easy check in, the rooms are very clean and the place was nice and quiet considering it was New Year’s Eve.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the botanical gardens, and just three streets away from the city center. However, the room decor is quite old-fashioned. The hot and cold water taps are separate, making it very tricky to adjust the water temperature in the shower. I loved staying here. Me and my friend were able to get a very good location to fortitude valley. Also had a very high elevation so was able to see the entire city well :)

Car park was a bit rough to navigate with structural poles to dodge. No staff at check out so just did key drop, after waiting 15 mins with a few other rooms of people waiting to do the same.

Staff at the Mantra was amazing. Called to confirm but wasn’t pushy. When I arrived after a long day of travelling, they were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and large. By myself but certainly could have had another person in there comfortably. The location was great too. Went for a nice walk in the morning and there were some nice cafes and shops around.
