I visited The Star Grand with high expectations, but I left feeling deeply disappointed. From the moment I arrived at reception, I felt an unwelcoming atmosphere that felt like subtle discrimination. I attended the Star Casino for the first time for the nye masquerade ball, the place was so beautiful, staff were so helpful and I had such a good time. The pool is great and beautiful, and it's very close to the beach, even though breakfast wasn't included.

It was okay, reception staff are a bit nosey. Room service over priced, and place is a bit pretentious

The check in was smooth and they happily honoured my last minute request for another bed. We also received two complimentary drinks upon arrival which made the experience all the more welcoming. The room was spacious and had incredible views, and the mini bar was stacked with options and a nice selection of complimentary tea and coffee pods.

Great service, great breakfast, good noise control. Our family enjoyed 4 night stay thoroughly. Cant wait for the next visit👍

Great location, friendly staff but there are something’s needs attention like breakfast menu is same everyday not much options either, wash basins in the bathrooms are too small it’s easily you will get wet and wet the floor, position of the soap holder is bad in the bathroom it could easily hurt someone while having shower.

This is a very stylish hotel with a unique, minimalist yet artistic decor. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and all the facilities are complete. The bathroom is also very roomy, and the service is excellent. Overall, it's a great experience.

Environment: The ambiance is great, and the hotel beach is private, requiring a key card for entry, which is really nice. Service: The staff are all very enthusiastic. Cleanliness: It was just okay. I'm not sure if it's because the place is a bit old, but it generally felt pretty average.

Not bad, but it had a bit of a musty smell. The pool was great though.

Always a pleasure staying at the Sheraton. We had a minor noise issue from the room next door, but the team went above and beyond to find us another room so we could fully enjoy our stay. A short 30-second walk to the beach is all it takes to be completely blown away. Perfect choice for small families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay at the Royal Pines Resort was absolutely amazing. The resort is family friendly and caters for children of all ages. There are so many facilities that enable you to not have to leave the resort for your entire stay. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, the food and amenities are ample and are of high standard. Will definitely be staying here again for our annual golf trips...

Such a nice stay at RACV. Place is very clean and kids enjoyed the onsite water park. All staff are very friendly.

The room was spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable trip. We also used the hotel's pool at night, and it was excellent with a heated pool available, allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves thoroughly.

There's a Chinese-speaking front desk, and the check-in experience was very friendly. They waived breakfast for my two children, but the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive. The hotel is a bit far from Surfers Paradise, so you have to drive there. The hotel has kangaroos that aren't afraid of people, and there's a beach. Most of the surrounding restaurants close early, except for one seafood...

Very nice, the room was ocean view. You can just open the door and kangaroos are right there on the lawn, perfect for interacting and taking photos with them! It's in an upscale area with lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient.

This resort hotel is located in an affluent area, and it's convenient for self-driving with ample parking. There's also a small commercial area by the yacht marina with Cantonese and Thai restaurants, though the food is just passable. The greenery is excellent, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. We had a wonderful experience at Peppers Soul! The room was very big and fully equipped. The view from our balcony was incredible. It's in a prime location near the beach and lots of restaurants. We didn't feel a lot of welcome from the reception only checked in and no recommendations about the room. But overall was good.

I had mixed feelings about our stay here. On the positive side, the location is fantastic and made getting around very easy. However, there were several drawbacks that affected our experience. First, be aware that parking is not included in the booking; we had to pay an additional $25 per day, which felt like a steep hidden cost. Inside the room, the towels were quite thin and worn out, definitely...

The location is fantastic! We were on the 18th floor and the view was absolutely breathtaking. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time. It was so convenient to get to the beach downstairs, and finding places to eat was incredibly easy too. Highly recommend!

We’ve got room at level 39, the view is excellent. The hotel room is spacious, it is a home. The only thing i am confuse about is the car park.. but luckily we get it through. Recommended for your stay

The pictures didn’t seem exactly what the apartment was like I was shocked to find out there was no Cleaning services offered and no breakfast

I visited during Christmas, and perhaps due to fewer staff or full bookings, I noticed a lot of hair that hadn't been cleaned when I entered the room, but I let it slide. Then, in the living room, I saw a potato chip on the carpet. The other room facilities were okay since they were all relatively new. Facilities at the property are amazing. Location is great. Rooms are a bit tired and dated. A/C was noisy. Kitchen was poorly stocked. Check-in is difficult as there is no parking.

Great location and venue , however we only made 1 request to be on a high floor and we were put on level 10 and there are 40 floors in the building

Great location, food and facilities. Great for business or solo travellers.

The wooden decor in the room was cozy and perfect for a vacation. The breakfast was generally decent, and I particularly enjoyed the DIY juice machine. The Japanese restaurant on the 3rd floor wasn't very authentic and the quality was average, but it offered a nice view. The gym, however, was a bit small.

Hospitality wasn’t impressed, checked in to our room with a baby cot already in there don’t know why the bay cot was there? And didn’t have any explanation, plus we didn’t request connecting room

It was great to stay, however I think 🤔 should be advised to pre book pool etc. Also I think breakfast buffet could be improved.

My friend and I went for Christmas and it was wonderful. The accommodation seemed to have all been renovated; it was incredibly clean and even better than the pictures. I'd definitely rebook.
