Very close the Mackay Airport and very comfortable, quiet and clean

Although it is next to the airport, it is not noisy at all. The restaurant downstairs is good and the scenery outside the window is also very good.

Ordinary budget hotel, nothing special, it's OK

Great views of the river. Walking distance to Canelands, the lagoon and dining. Nice room. The view from the open area at the top floor is beautiful. My only complaint was that there is a bad smell in the room. It needed to be aired out daily.

Clean room, but had Clean the room sign out for three days. ( Not done) ended up asking cleaner for clean towels. A little disappointing

Absolutely professional staff and very friendly. Will definitely stay here again when I go through Mackay again eventually. They allowed me to checkin early while other hotels said they were full or couldn't have rooms available until lunch time. This was a godsend after I had been at work all week and on a bus coach most the night. Everything was clean and cozy as well. :)

We didn’t stay here but ducked into Jimmy Dee’s to grab a couple of pizzas and garlic bread. WOW. Friendly service and awesome food. This beautiful little motel is exceptionally clean, friendly and professional. I stayed in a pet friendly room which was spacious as well as very clean! The toiletries were higher end and the beverage and snack options also a cut above the rest. There is a great bar and grill which also serves pizza. They also have great coffee!! Spacious, comfy, and clean room. Friendly, and helpful staff. Great breakfast included. Sensibly-sized parking spaces. No traffic noise, and comfortable bed. Fresh and characterful restaurant. Stayed 4 nights, and will be back again.

We stayed at The Shores for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed the tropical gardens and direct access to the beach. Beach walks every day was a highlight for me and for my son the highlight was catching a fish on the first day we arrived. We stayed in a spacious villa which was fully self contained and we made use of the BBQ area and pools. We will definitely come back as there is so much to see and do...

This is a great little hotel and affordable. We stayed with our 3 children, they loved playing in all the different pools. Whole place was really peaceful. Love that the rooms were aircon as it was so so hot outside. Place was nice and tidy too.

Stayed a week in the 2 bedroom deluxe villa. Nicole was more than accommodating for us. Having 3 children we needed a rollaway bed which Nicole brought down to us without issues along with extra pillows. Very spacious villa with plenty of natural light. Beds were quite comfortable. We stayed there 4 times over the last 18 months. Great location good pools nice large spacious unit, friendly mangers very helpful. Backs onto the beach, big barbecue area. Would recommend everyone to stay there.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa which was very spacious & private. Very quiet location with the beach at the back of the property for easy access for walks on the long beach. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind & relax. Very well equipped kitchen with laundry as well.

Beautiful clean spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great location right on the beach with pool area, BBQ area undercover, tennis/basketball court and large lawn area for kicking a footy. Great staff. Thankyou - will definitely try to book again next time

Although the rooms are small, its good for a quick stop over, kids loved the playground. Staff was lovely and helpful. Place was clean. Nice quiet place.

Good Value! For the price, and compared to other places weve stayed in Mackay we eremt expecting 5 star facilities but were pleasantly surprised and location suited us for what we needed.
