Been staying here a number of times as it is very spacious and comfortable. Always clean and in a handy location. Good value for money.

A great motel. Friendly reception. Very clean. Had real cutlery & crockery + washing up liquid, tea towel etc. Comfy bed. Installed hand wash, shampoo & cond, body wash minimising throw-away plastic 👍 Undercover parking right outside our door. Would definitely stop here again.

Although the rooms are small, its good for a quick stop over, kids loved the playground. Staff was lovely and helpful. Place was clean. Nice quiet place.

Rooms very clean comfortable quiet and friendly organised host , attention to detail - three in the room so there were three packets of biscuits three pots of milk just very nice to stay. There would recommend

Good Value!
For the price, and compared to other places weve stayed in Mackay we eremt expecting 5 star facilities but were pleasantly surprised and location suited us for what we needed.

Having driven most of the night from Brisbane, it was a pleasure to enjoy a good night's rest. Even though I arrived before the check in time, upon calling them and asking what time the room would be ready, they went out of their way to make sure the room was available upon my arrival. The room was very clean and tidy. The only down side was that there were no hand held showers which was have been helpful. Over all, My stay was very enjoyable and not very noisy even though they are on the main road. I would consider staying there again. It was not too far from the major shopping center and shops close by for the bite to eat.

I accidentally locked myself out of my room at 8PM when going out to my car to get something - I then went to the office - nobody there - didnt answer the phone so I knocked on the door - an old woman with curlers come out really angry and started accusing me of being drunk and chasing *********** on the main road??? I told her - NO Im a resident and wanted to get back into my room. OMG - what a hole this place and the owners - OMG

Place if filthy - TV doesnt work - no cleaning

My family and I stayed at tropic coast for some time, during our stay we were made to feel very welcome, Eva and bryan and their cleaning team were very polite and more then happy to catered to my family's needs. Room was great, comfortable beds, motel itself is well maintained. 11 out of 10 will stay here again.
