Other than being a little dated and probably similar to a 3.5 star hotel, room was huge with great kitchen, fridge, oven, kettle parking, bedroom and comfortable bed. No lift for those on top floor, didn’t bother me. Really lovely views and our own spa pool on the roof which was handy given it was a cold start to the week. Easy walk to town, bit of a climb back but you’ll need the exercise - I’d stay here again but I’d bring my own coffee. The Nescafé sachets were aweful. Bottle store open until midnight next door, access the road. Very large apartment and worth the stay.

Stayed 5 nights. I loved the first apartment I was given. Unfortunately after spending a little bit of time in there I discovered there was a family next to my room and the children were very loud, with tantrums and running around and stomping on the floor, and the walls were paper thin so I could hear everything. Not the relaxing peaceful stay I had hoped for. I spoke to the owner couple and they seemed surprised, and were hesitant to speak to the family and tell them to keep it down. There seems to be no noise rule at this property like others I’ve stayed at. So they moved me to an apartment I didn’t like near as much as the first. I was disappointed. Especially as I’d paid good dollars. The location was great though.

Great apartments at a great price. The kitchen has everything anyone could possibly need including blenders and slow cookers.

The two managers are extremely friendly and personable.

My husband & I enjoyed the stay in the spacious room with a lovely view from the balcony!
It is walkable to Hasting street, yet it's nestled in a quiet area, it was a perfect getaway for us.

Stayed with 4 friends in a 3BR Penthouse & 2 BR apartment for 3 nights & it was a perfect arrangement for us. The units are large & very well appointed. As previous reviews have mentioned there are no lifts so with that plus the steep 15 min walk down to Hastings Street we had plenty of exercise! Only negative I can think of is that the pool wasn’t very inviting, it could do with an upgrade/resurfacing.

I ordered the beer battered fish and chips for $29. The fish was what you’d get out of the frozen food section at a supermarket, over cooked and tough and the chips under cooked. It was tuck shop food at serious restaurant prices.
