Delish food and friendly service! The grilled prawn salad is amazing!

It is obvious with anywhere you go, that there are times the food is amazing but other times not so good and this can be due to busy periods or personal issues. Holy mackeral is superb most of the time, in saying that, i know that when you place the order (if not busy) it will not take any time at all, therefore seeing some reviews saying food was soggy and wet, that most likely is your own fault as if you leave for a while, then like any meal, it gets cold and soggy. In addition, if you complain about price, it is noosa, everything is quite expensive and for a business to keep up, prices are high.
Plus, some complaining about no deticated fryer for ceoliac customers (I understand this, my grandad is ceoliac however he has eaten here and been happy with the result) it is a small shop meaning small space and there are most likely many other restaurants and factors that do not or do not alow to have a separate fryers, so if your planning on writing a review based on that, think before judging a business. There is fabulous fish that can be grilled with a herb and garlic butter or can be plain grilled (which DO NOT USE ANY FLOUR), and the squid can be grilled with their spice or can be plain grilled as well, also a variety of salads (one being a grilled prawn salad which uses no flour too) and the burgers can be made with no bread.
I believe this business can provide tasty and yummy food and is always a nice place to eat on a weekend in the sun, viewing the river. There is no need for hate and rudeness, if your unhappy with the service, no need to defame the business, just politely and maturely have your say and with any where you go there always has to be a positive, so instead of being VERY negative, have your say about your problem but then try and write a positive. One of the best fish n chips I've had for a long time.
Moist barramundi. Tender calamari and plump scallops. Chips were nicely cooked too.

Unlike many places who overcook everything, this was delicious !

Wow. I scoffed a an $8 Hoki fillet but I needed three to resurrect a dinner gone wrong using the resort's ordinary in-room cooking facilities. Ordered them crumbed for something different. Did not disappoint. Delicious fish.

Wow! What a fabulous little oasis in the middle of Gympie Terrace Moondoggy's is. A beautiful serene setting with plenty of tables and an extensive menu, at least 10 varieties of tea! Super-friendly staff and well priced. We will be back! Caught up with a dear friend and had a lovely morning! A lovely find.

Relaxing atmosphere with the pond out the back, food servings generous with extremely friendly and courteous staff.. what more could you want?

Had a couple of meals there. A great lunch here based on the lunch special menu. Really nice food and great value for money. Also had evening meal another day (beef rib) excellent as well. We were with a larger group for the evening meal and they all enjoyed the food. Sunset Bar on top of the building is a good place for a drink as well.
