Where to stay in Hobart

Good location and good value for money. A lot of asian restaurants and eateries nearby. - Highly recommended!

The positioning of bed was not correct in the room because of two lights right on the top of the bed. The lights banged twice on my head.

The family room is quite satisfactory. Two bedrooms. No kitchenware. Easy check in. There is a BWS nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the city. Good parking. Clean and hygienic.

Fabulous roomy accommodation, comfortable bed, awesome shower, and everything we needed for a 3 night stay was here. Serviced daily, and certainly value for money, can definitely recommend Martin Cash Motel.

Only think no cooktop top for me

Good budget hotel. Owner was friendly and helpful and she let me check in an hour early. There is no air conditioning in the room but there is a fan so that is something to be aware of. I only used the room for a few hours while waiting for a flight so I didn't spend the night so I can't really comment on how it was to spend a night in the room but it would be suitable I think

For 4 people. 1 queen bed and one single bed is not enough. Must have 2 single beds compulsory , Had to sleep 1 person in floor. Enough soaps, shampoo, tissues and Towels required to replace if staying multiple days.

Quiet residential area. Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good bed and large bathroom. Free on-site parking is available.

The decor was dated and could do with refreshing...ie curtains, carpet. The fixed heater did not work but there was a portable one that did. The door handle needs to be made more secure. The heater switch above the bathroom door needs to be tidied up. There was no soap in dispenser above the bath but filled to when asked. The pillows provided and spares were all too big for us. The bed was comfortable...

It's been converted from a heritage building and you can tell from both the architecture and smell. The room is quite aged but meets basic requirement for a short stay

Look like 2 star hotel. Don't expect any well service.

I had a really pleasant stay at Marquis Hotel Hobart. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with lovely views over Hobart and the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. I also appreciated the parking and the convenient on-site bar and bistro. The hotel is in a good location if you don’t mind a steep hill, so it’s worth noting that walking back from the city...

We had an amazing stay! The staff were all super welcoming and friendly, only a walk away from everything you’d need during a stay, super convenient having everything so close, would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area 😊

Staff was friendly, easy parking, very close to CBD. There is a buffet and gaming im the hotel as well.

Located in a quiet neighbourhood on a hilltop. Nice place to stay, near the heart of the CBD. Good view.

Great hostel in a great area to explore Hobart. The Italian restaurant is great down the road and also The Whaler does good food also not too far away

It was a great stay, the hostel was cozy with a small living room and a small garden. They do have kitchen and dining area where you can prepare your meal and it was great because spending for eating in restaurants in Hobart seems really expensive.

The inn is in the Battery Point, which contains plenty of beautiful scenery and special buildings. There are many kinds of rooms and different demands can be satisfied. The kitchen is not so big but free coffee and tea is provided. Limited bathrooms so maybe you have to wait but unforgettable experience for us. Free parking lot is offered also. You can meet different visitors here and mostly of them...

The bed was large and very comfortable, far exceeding my expectations.

I stayed three nights and did day tours to Bruny Island and the Tasman peninsula. The B&B is in a beautiful older home that is nicer than any hotel. John, the host, is really nice and fun to talk with. The kitchen is well stocked and it is possible to cook your own meal. Breakfast is self-service which was ideal for the early departure of the day tours. the B&B is only a few stops from one of the stops...

The room, while a bit old, had a lot of character. The breakfast buffet was simple but satisfying, with milk, orange juice, a few types of cereal, some fruit, and instant noodles. The location was decent, about a 20-minute walk to the city center and Woolworths. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also very clean.

We like the Victorian charm and the decorations. The room and toilets are clean and tidy. The breakfast provided different kind of milk including oat milk which is good for people with lactose intolerance like me. The only downside is no individual bathroom in room.

Great kitchen with everything necessary for breakfast. Quirky property with unusual decor that adds to the charm. John was very helpful regarding advice for journeys, food and places to visit. Good location. Easy walk to city.

Breakfast wasn't great, but it was plentiful.
