Great hostel in a great area to explore Hobart. The Italian restaurant is great down the road and also The Whaler does good food also not too far away

It was a great stay, the hostel was cozy with a small living room and a small garden. They do have kitchen and dining area where you can prepare your meal and it was great because spending for eating in restaurants in Hobart seems really expensive.

The inn is in the Battery Point, which contains plenty of beautiful scenery and special buildings. There are many kinds of rooms and different demands can be satisfied. The kitchen is not so big but free coffee and tea is provided. Limited bathrooms so maybe you have to wait but unforgettable experience for us. Free parking lot is offered also. You can meet different visitors here and mostly of them are backpackers. During our stay here, it was the owner's daughter's birthday. Sweet bread and donuts are shared for free by him.

This isn't a hotel! It's more like a large villa converted into a guesthouse with many rooms, and the owner lives there too. A lot of people stay here, sharing bathrooms and common areas, so don't book if you're not okay with that. However, the owner is very interesting, the house is incredibly beautiful, there are puppies in the yard you can pet, and the location is excellent.

Food is nice but service is slow and un-attentive. Also pretty expensive. We paid over 100 for 2pax without beverages ordered.

This cafe doesn't look much from the outside but their breakfasts are absolutely delicious!!! Perfectly poached eggs, rib bacon on handmade sourdough toast with roast tomato chutney with a side of avocado was faultless. Coffee was strong and the boys serving are lovely. As a foodie from Melbourne, I give it a derserving 5/5.

Plentiful servings, wonderful flavour, great range of meat and vegetarian. Service a little slow but staff are friendly.

Below Average. Meal looked like it had been pre cooked and has stood around for ages. Taste was not as good either. Asked for some chillies and told it would come with the meal - it never came! Would not go back!

First experience with them, ordered Beef vindaloo, goat curry, lamb seekh kebab and plain Naans.
Found everything was good apart from goat curry. The taste was not close to be an Indian and meat taste and quality tasted not fresh.
Staff, environment and the location is really good.
Will visit next time when visit Hobart.
