Good service and simple breakfast (toast, juice, coffee, eggs, and tomatoes). The walls are thin and it's quite noisy, but it's a fair deal for the price，is good one stay one day,if 2 days I will change stay other hotel,

Lovely stay. love the cozy room and the location is very convenient there are lots of restaurants surroundings.

The only thing i didn’t like was there was no room cleaning service.

Fantastic location, restaurant on site, continental breakfast included or at small cost.
Great place to stay and be close to shopping, dining, public transport and a variety of Ballarat’s activities and attractions.

I would give a 0 if possible. I am only giving 1 star to the incredible work that the housekeeping staff had done during my stay, the room was always spotless and the beds were made amazingly. The manager at this hotel was awful. I witnessed her yelling at staff which made me feel disgusted. Another male staff member was wearing a shirt supporting Donald Trump which is just so embarrassing and disgusting for all reasons. I would not stay here if I were you - I mean, unless you like abusive managers who support Donald Trump. Otherwise, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Appreciated the 24 reception services. It is helpful when we travel by public transport as we can’t control the time.
Very happy with the location as it was very convenient. Breakfast quite healthy.
Clean rooms.
Having warm globes and an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be useful .

We travelled down on the 22nd of August 2025 for 2 nights. We wanted somewhere close to town and good value. From our view you can't beat the Mid City. Yes the rooms are a little dated but they were clean, had good showers, it was quiet, breakfast was great, hosts lovely and the location was excellent.

We stayed one night at this motel, was very tidy the beds were very comfortable very cozy with the heating on and watch TV, when having shower there is no fan for the steam so that was an issue not so much of a big deal but big deal enough when you think there would be a fan when you have a shower, The breakfast wasn’t really worth the price. If you’re paying $30 just to get bacon on top sorry and the cup of coffee were cold as and the food was okay. Sausages could be a bit more flavours in the price of what you pay and the orange juice could have a bit more bigger glasses to serve. I think you need a kettle there because the water was not hot for a cuppa. Regards Christine.

Here for the first time for lunch and will definitely be back. Service was great and the meals we had were delicious and they were a generous serve. I had the Vietnamese Stew 'Yummo' and will definitely have again.

The food is like master chef. The atmosphere is fantastic. Can't rate this restaurant highly enough. Everything is market fresh. The flavours, wow, just wow. I'm going back. Also, great menu.

Placed a delivery order. Never turned up but took my money from my credit card. $55. When i called up they were closed. Extremely disgusted in this service. I want my money back and will not return to this establishment again. Zero stars.

Came in the afternoon on our way to Sovereign Hill, it wasn't really busy and food came pretty quickly. Ordered the boiled beef and was pleasantly surprised, it tastes really good.
