Great value for the hotel that is actually inside the Sovereign Hill itself so we could walk around inside as well.

Room is a bit dated but it is clean and tidy so I have no complaints.

The staff is also friendly and there is ample parking. I had a great stay!

The service personnel are good and helpful. One best thing is that they have another door to the Gold mining area. That's very convenient for us to go to the light show. We left a jacket in the hotel, they patiently replied us and sent back to Hong Kong to us. We only need to pay postal cost. We are really happy with them.

The convenience and experience of staying on-site of one of the premium museum parks is great. I do wish they could upgrade the rooms and amenities provided to the room.
NOTE:
even though the hotel provides a microwave which implies you may cook in the room. DO NOT DO THIS.
The smoke alarms are EXTREMELY sensitive and merely cooking toast could trigger them. This activates a fire brigade call out which the hotel WILL insist YOU paying.
This occurred to friends of ours that stayed with us at the facility.

We stayed for 3 nights and found the room to be clean and tidy.
Complimentary tea, coffee and milk was nice to have available.
Very easy access to Sovereign Hill made it a good place to stay.
Fridge constantly running was a bit of a nuisance at night.

We booked in expecting some sort of historic feel. It's pretty underwhelming in terms of style, but the beds are comfortable, and the view was nice. If we had a do over, we would book a hotel in town and travel to the museum. This was before we realised we were sharing the hotel with multiple school groups. It is unfortunate that there were no warnings of schools attending when making a booking. If you are looking for a relaxing accommodation, perhaps book a spot in town. We were told that kids would be on the grass outside our room until 8pm latest and that they are not allowed close to the buildings, though it wouldn't matter if you are after peace because sound still filled our room. Schools were still passing our window and door hourly past 11pm (loudly as they would on a camp). On a positive note, it does sound like amazing fun for kids and school groups who have the privilege of attending a camp there.

The location is incredibly convenient for Gold Rush Town. The hotel entrance faces a lush green lawn, a truly refreshing sight, and Gold Rush Town is just a 3-minute walk away.

The facilities are excellent, clean, and tidy. Breakfast is freshly prepared, with a menu for you to choose your preferred items – delicious, healthy, and nutritious.

The hotel service was excellent. A friendly elderly lady helped me with check-in and inquired about booking tickets. A young man named Xiao Wang, who speaks Chinese, was also very helpful, explaining how to get into Gold Rush Town and what to do. Booking tickets through Ctrip offered a discount; a room for one adult and one child cost only AUD 85.50. The breakfast staff were also superb, and the breakfast was plentiful.
