We had high hopes for this accommodation but we felt let down over a number of things. View from the balcony was not as expected. A view of a brick wall when a view of the garden was promised, the fruit salad for breakfast was very average, a huge stain on the carpet was disappointing, difficulty reaching someone when there was a power outage as there is virtually no staff visible.

It was a unique and quaint little place to stay. We got a very warm & pleasant welcome on arrival. Even though it was in the heart of Fremantle it was surprisingly quiet at night. Our room was extremely clean and we were able to check in a little earlier. We will be back!! :))

The accommodation at Port Mill was really good. The room was a decent size and a big bonus was the inclusion of a washer and dryer. The breakfast is basic but good enough and the room and bathroom were clean. The location is right in the middle of Freo so easy to get to places. On street parking might be hard to find during the day, but there are plenty of paid carparks around the area. Good value for what you pay.

This B & B is in a quaint, gated area. Unlucky for us, we were in the Duyfken attic room, facing the back which when sitting out on the balcony looks onto a brick wall, described as Inner courtyard view. I knew before booking we had stairs to climb because this is mentioned but didn't realise there would be so many. Pictures don't show the two narrow staircases with about 13 steps on each staircase. Had I seen pics of these I would not have booked because we are two, older, female friends travelling together and it would have been very difficult getting the cases up all these stairs. It was bad enough coming down them with the cases. Luckily, when we arrived a neighbour, who works for the owner at another location, helped us with the luggage. If you read this, thank you. We spent four nights here but never saw a cleaner or receptionist. Every day we had continental breakfast delivered for the next day but one day the milk wasn't left and the cups weren't changed. The room was very small when beds are split into twins. The bathroom door didn't shut but it was a good size bathroom. The room really did need a deep clean, carpet is patched. It could be a lovely room if these things are put right. Beautiful building. Everything is there that you need for a short stay. Exceptional location, just off Market Street which is full of shops, restaurants and bars. Five minute walk to the station, the beach and harbour. I have given four starts because these negatives can be corrected and it's a great place to stay.

A great find! A lovely room with a very comfortable bed. AC and ceiling fan was most welcome as it was a hot day. The location is great as it is so walkable. Good advice was given about where to go, eat, park etc. We parked right outside after 5pm and paid the $7 evening fee and left before 9am which was easy and great. Continental breakfast on the balcony was nice. Highly recommended.

The location was excellent, close to lots of restaurants and the market and many sites. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. Fruit, yogurt, granola and milk, along with a couple slices of banana bread and orange juice. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location and a pretty first floor room overlooking the courtyard. Comfortable bed and good breakfast in the fridge. Could hear every movement from floor above. Shower tray was so slippery and all was rather faded. But a nice enough place to stay.

Stayed in the Leeuwin room that had expansive views over rooftops taking in the ferris wheel, ocean glimpses from the balcony. The courtyard and fountains really make this place special. Very secure. A bonus is the wonderful Whisper Wine Bar just outside the front gate. Very close to other cafes and restaurants and pubs on South Tce and also the Freo Market.

Lovely place to stay. Felt a bit like a southern European getaway with the wine bar next door and really good restaurants on the same street. The rooms at the front with a balcony that overlooks the courtyard are the ones to go for I think. Breakfast was nice too.

Lunchtime in the school holidays - one person on cash register, one visible in the kitchen, one manager. Server spilt the drinks and had to start over. Had to return to the counter twice due to missing items and incorrect items when order was received. Not very impressive.

Went to hjs on a 36 degree day to walk in and find that half the stores air conditioner wasn't working. Ordered whopper large fries to find the sauce was turning and the chips tasted like card board. To have staff working in that heat Like that is disgusting. The worst hjs experience I have had.

I ask for a fresh whopper because they alway seem cold. They said that they where putting fresh through the cooker for me, but when i got it its was cold and the meat did not look freshly cooked. Considering how quick they got it out to me, i dont think they gave me a fresh one.

This is the third time we have gone there the last couple months during stated operating hours and they have been closed.
I even rang them this afternoon and asked if they would be open and was assured they would be. From 5-8.30pm.
We got there at six and it's closed!!!!

Not as good as it used to be. A lot of the same dishes and not a lot of variety. Has gone down hill from what it used to be. Overpriced and poor execution.

We ordered the large seafood pizza and the ribs.. both were great tasting and large in portion. Would like to see an affagato added to the menu in the coffee section but overall it was a great experience.

Casual Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great for people watching along the Cappuccino Strip. The food is very tasty, especially the pizza, but not quite as good overall as Ciao Italia. There is a 15% surcharge on public holidays and the menu is a little pricey. Service is good but not excellent and a lot of wait staff are backpackers from Europe. I’d recommend the chili mussels, parmigiana with spaghetti and Peter’s Special pizza.

Go at 5pm prior to the movies at Luna. Helpful staff and delicious pizza...can recommend "The Works ". Staff are alert and helpful around 530ish when there are hardly any patrons so can't comment on later
