Basic accomodation with minimal but functional furniture great views of the marina and back right on to the water with parking is $15 /day extra thru reception. The thing is the location - close enough for a 1.5km stroll to excellent markets and Freo city bars..

Wonderful place to stay. Great location but a bit far to walk to Fremantle itself. But we've got a car, $15 per day for parking... Only negative is bath, shower combo. Not a fan with old knees. And no downstairs toilet :(

It was a great comfortable stay for my family with 2 bedrooms. Receptionists were nice and considerate to make sure my room was away from the road works (which ended on the day I checked out). Housekeeping was amazing - much better than what I experienced in even 5 star hotels - just imagine a totally SPOTLESS double storey townhouse and they even changed the sheets daily I think (not necessary but...

Fantastic seaview! Room was equipped with microwave, cutleries which we could prepare breakfast and dinner. Room was clean and spacious. 10 min drive to B shed ferry terminal to Rottnest Island and there was 10% discount at nearby eateries such as Twinfin fish and chips and Ciecerello Fremantle Seafood restaurant. Thumbs up!

It was a unique experience to stay in the oldest prison in western australia. We had a double decker in one of the cell blocks and showered in a ild shower that inmates used to use back in the day. Its walking distance to the markets and cafes. Great place to stay

very near fremantle market. about 15-20min walk from fremantle ferry terminals which was great. the room was relatively clean. the rooms has no aircon but there's a small fan, u went it November so it was not hot. fun experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Hostel was clean and quiet. There were activities and we had a Christmas BBQ.

Great kitchen and breakfast facilities. Nice decor. Really clean and well presented. Parking is a bit of a challenge but not terrible. Ground floor rooms subject to creaking floors above.

Parking could be challenging, easy enough to park in 15minute bay across the road to unload baggage and then move car after if you don’t mind a little walking

Property was very convenient to Fremantle Hospital. Very clean and neat. Easy access for checking in. Friendly staff. Thankyou for a great stay.

Beautiful and cozy room to spend a couple of nights, I would return.

The Room and Building were lovely. Historic and well appointed with modern comfort. The bathroom did have a few long dark hairs in the bath that were a bit off putting. The drinks fridge also made a “cork popping” noise every hour. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Small bottle of port and 2 glasses to welcome us was lovely, lovely clean room, fantastic location, nice breakfast... challenging entry though, staff responded by email to my query about parking immediately and helpfully with a gate entry code by way of Wotif... however, email from Wotif with door entry code did not have a number (just ****) and no one answered my call to mobile telephone number provided...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Port Mill . The accommodation was quaint with a lovely outlook & the location was close to all the things to see in Freemantle. Our breakfasts were a good start to the day. We were warm & cosy. The woman who looked after us was lovely

I had a wonderful stay at Port Mill. The lady on reception was wonderful and helped me with my luggage. The breakfast was lovely and I had everything I would need in my room. Also the position is excellent, a very short walk to the markets, restaurants and bars. Will definitely return!

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely ambiance as you get through the gate in to the courtyard with fountain in centre. Felt like we were in a little bit of Italy! Nice greeting at reception. Very comfortable room. Breakfast looked awesome but we had to leave early so wasn’t able to sit and enjoy. Unfortunately I did knocked the milk bottle and spilt the milk. (Bottle doesn’t sit properly in the top of the fridge...

Great location, very close to shops and restaurants that we wanted to visit. Comfortable bed. Easy check in and out, breakfast was nice. Would stay again.

Very French provincial. Room is clean and adorable. The continental breakfast was amazing and very fresh. Cold not get the air conditioner to work besides fan and there were two exhaust fans in the bathroom but they did not work. Very quick and informative check-in. Would definitely stay again.

Was looking for a Sunday roast and they delivered. Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, roast veg & peas. Large meal, alright price $25. Delicious, thoroughly recommend. A few dining areas to choose from. Inside near the bar, which is old style pub feel. In the atrium or in the beer garden.

Room were clean but if you want to sleep then no. The walls are paper thin, and when you walk in there is ear plugs on the bed side tables. Showers are ok but the water has to run for about 5 minutes to get any sort of hot water. We had been out and went back to listen to the DJ and have a couple of drinks. We booked the Fedral boutique hotel for our hens night! The three of us shared one room. The room was Large, The bathroom is clean, and the Aircon and fan was a lifesaver. We stayed on a Saturday night so it was loud, but the accommodation provided foam earplugs. The staff were really lovely! Be aware there aren’t any lifts -so you will be climbing stairs with your luggage.

This place is stunning and so beautiful. Drinks and food are well priced. Vegetables are a selection, not just chips and slaw, that seem to be a WA thing? We visited mid week, the schnitzel mushrooms gravy and vegetables for a travel weary were delicious 😋

Hotel: clean&great Tea Room. Loud on weekends (the pub!) Luggage storing after checkout. Free WiFi is bad, A/C is poor. Order ur invoice properly-even agreed before, can't be changed after. Irish!

Wedges are amazing also try the soda bread, absolutely delicious 
