Because I am only in the hotel for 2 nights, i did not make a fuzz about my current circumstances with the staff. But I do want to protect my fellow travelers. My experience:

1. The AC is loud and does not work at all.
2. The rooms are extremely noisy... I hear kids from the floor above me. I hear the TV and even sneezes from the room next to me, so clear, it's like we are sharing one.
3. The carpet has stains. In my opinion no hotel EVER should have carpets in them. And if you do, make sure they are absolutely stain free...
4. There are plenty of pillows, but I don't dare touch the dark ones, because I cannot "inspect" it as thoroughly as the 2 white ones.
5. Especially not after first impressions of the bed sheets... I added a picture of a mysterious stain on them. Even though we all have that first disgusting thought...
6. Mirrors are rusty.
7. Squashed bugs on the wall presumably by the poor soul who tried to sleep in this room before me
8. 50% of the electrical sockets work, but my charger connects so loosely, it "spits" it right out... (Not an engineer, but it feels like an electrical hazard)

This all resulted in 2 almost sleepless, dirty, very hot and loud nights. I am writing this on my last night and I currently feel tired and plain dirty.

You can see that the staff is really trying their best with what they are given. Location is somewhat away from city center but it was the closest for my needs. Linen, towels and bathroom were impeccably clean which is really mandatory given that the hallway smelled faintly of cat litter and the room had the ugliest stained yellow-green carpet. No other amenity to speak of, very bare as far as room go.
Getting rid of the carpet would improve this hotel immensely.

Overall, mostly OK. Staff was very friendly. Hotel overall looks very nice. However, it seems like not enough time/money is being spent on upkeep. Paint falling off walls in the hallways, broken floors in the elevators. Our room was quite spacious, however: - the door to the hallway would not lock from the inside.
- The bathroom door would not lock at all.
- The mirror was broken near the floor, as if it had been kicked.
- Carpet had quite a lot of stains.
- Holes in the curtains.

Overall, OK experience. Could have definitely been better but what do you expect for a price like that.

We had a great stay in this hotel. One staff member in particular (didn't get his name) that was working in the evenings was extremely nice and helpful!! He took the time and effort to talk to us about Antwerp and give great advice for places to visit. He also helped with making our say super easy and effortless with our 4 month baby. Would 100% stay there again just for the kindness of the staff!!!

Decent hotel for the price you pay. Friendly staff at reception. Breakfast is very good, a mix of hot and cold dishes, everything looks delicious. Stayed twice, first time I had an "normal" room, it's definitely time for an update, lots of stains and small damages on the walls, the lights were loose. Bathroom was okay. The second stay I booked a superior room with the painting on the wall. It's almost the same as a normal room, you only have the painting as an extra. The only that was weird in the superior room was this ventilation fence in the entrance (picture). I would stay there again.

Our worst experience ever. We arrived at 2 pm and we couldn't check in. Then We decided go to eat. When We came back, few hours later, the hotel was already overbooked, we were wet, because the rain, and really tired.
First, they promised to give us to another hotel, but when we have waited plus than hour for the taxi they decided to change the another hotel and we have to wait 30 minutes more. It really sucks. Nobody should book on this horrible hotel. Oh, and they just said sorry.

It's a good hotel, for a good price. Just 15 minutes walking to the city center. Overall very good hotel. However, the walls or not that thick, so we had to enjoy some late night action from our neighbours.
