The hotel is being refurbished during our stay which we were not informed about until the day of our arrival. The hotel reception area was being used as a staging area for plasterboard for rooms upstairs and were required to check in, in a nearby hostel. The stairs was very upright and quite dangerous, especially coming back down, the tv in the room did not work, the curtains did not close properly, leaving a 100mm gap to allow light in and around the edges. Bathroom was new although the hot water needed to run for 6-7 minutes before heating up. The photographs did not represent what we saw during our stay.

Hotel is being refund, but the location and breakfast are excellent.

Deceit, don't book here. The day of the arrival Hotel Leopold sends you a mail that the hotel is not accessible because of renovation, and you are redirected to a hostel Lybeer which cashes your money. To be avoided at all price if you want to book a hotel.

Affordable, good value for money. Room was basic but pleasant. Host Mirela at Hostel Lybeer was super - very welcoming and helpful.

Two days at Brugge in a very nice place

Not what expected
I booked a ‘deluxe twin room’ I got a studio at the top of a very steep and narrow spiral staircase. Very difficult to climb without luggage 😳. Also not in the actual hotel. On arrival the lobby was under renovation had to report to a hostel around the corner. There was also no tea/coffee/sugar in the room. The bedroom was very unwelcoming with two small beds and it felt like a cave. Not the deluxe I expected

The apartment was PERFECT for our stay. We were welcomed so warmly by staff and felt at home straight away. Great facilities and right where we needed to be to explored the beautiful city of Bruges. We will be back 😁

room was ok , back in the uk this hotel would never have been opened, health and safety non existent, very dangerous especially at night
