Hostel Namur is a decent option if you’re looking for a simple place to stay. The hostel is generally clean and functional, though not exceptional. The rooms and common areas do the job, but comfort and atmosphere are fairly basic.
The location is convenient for getting around Namur, which is a plus. The staff, however, were friendly, helpful, and easy to approach, which definitely made the stay better. Facilities are standard for a hostel, nothing special, but acceptable for a short stay.
Overall, Hostel Namur is fine for a night if you’re on a budget and don’t expect anything fancy, with the staff being the highlight of the experience.

The staff is really kind
Generous breakfast was included.
Amazing view! Even dough I felt limited in my room (could just sleep and do nothing else, neither prepared myself, not to disturb my roommates sleeping until late)

We stood for 2 nights with the family and had a great time. The receptionists were extremely friendly and the facilities with couches, a bar, table football etc. Very cozy. It has a nice view on the river and we used scooters in front of the door to reach the center.

What a fantastic place and stay: very clean and homely; bar, great buffet breakfast, great value, hostel-style accommodation. As good as this type of accommodation gets, with clean, well-maintained rooms. Peaceful, picturesque, quiet location overlooking river, so equally not ideal if you want to be in the heart of town and nightlife.
The icing on the cake was Guillaume, who I think may be the co-owner/manager: bend over backwards helpful (e.g. he phoned around about six restaurants for us, until he eventually found a table for us on a Saturday night), but mainly for being utterly hilarious :-)
Definitely a place I would return to and recommend highly.

Hostel with classic youth holiday vibes. Nice building, rooms with large windows. Blankets could be cleaner and the coffee at breakfast really needs an upgrade. At the same time, absolutely excellent service with friendly staff. Very accommodating to cyclists.

Very comfortable and friendly stop off on the drive from London to southern Germany. Free parking just outside. Stayed in a four bed room (two bunks) with shower and shared toilet for one night. About 25 minutes stroll along the river from the centre of town. Where there are lots of opportunities to eat. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and there was an option for dinner and a small bar. Complete with table football. Whole thing was about €100 for the night.

Our arrival at the hostel was delayed but we called and were happy that they waited for us to check in.
That done, we went to the room and one of the rooms had a horrible smell of sewage. We went back to the reception to complain and the guy said it was because the room was closed for a long and make the water run the smell disappear, which did not happen. We came back to him and he said that the hostel was full and that he couldn't do anything (??). We insisted already that this problem would need to be solved. At this point, the conversation was getting hot. So, he went to the room to see (smell) what we were complaining about. He was very unfriendly, completely different from that guy who was in the reception making jokes and laughing when we checked in. At the end he offered us another room. In the morning, there was no water available in the bathrooms, showers, or to make coffee in the restaurant. There was a problem with a leak, which at the end of the day we saw that it had been resolved. The hostel is average. Rooms are OK. Good reception and restaurant. But the first impression was bad.

This place is terrible the bed sheets are dirty and sink is leaking too.This is the worst hostel I have ever been in.

The room price was ok but it was dirty. There were cobwebs all over the place in the corners of the room. Also it was quite cold in the room even with the heater on. Staff could have been more friendly even with our late check-in.
