The hotel could benefit from some renovation in the bathrooms. The rooms are very spacious and modern, while the corridors feel a bit narrow. The mattress was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The rooms are bright and sunny, and come equipped with convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and an iron.

It is a perfectly lovely hotel. It is apparent that the building is older. The rooms are clean and lovely, though there are paint nicks and other cosmetic damage. There are antiquated features, such as obviously old locking mechanisms, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and have clearly been updated. We booked a room with a sauna. While the sauna is electric and not steam (which makes sense), it was clean and pleasant. It has great access to very easy and affordable public transportation, as well as great proximity to shops and restaurants. The breakfast is very good and the bar is quiet.
EDIT: And then day after I added this review, they began updating and renovating the rooms. So please, don't let the "negatives" I listed influence you too heavily.

We spent 2 nights in Thon hotel during spring 2026.
Spacious room equipped with all the amenities. Separate bathroom and toilet, definitely a plus point. Nespresso machine ready for morning quick fix. Parking available at certain rates. Close proximity to eateries and attractions.
All in all, a pleasant stay!

Highly recommend. Definitely value for money. Stayed 3 nights with family. Friendly staff. Big rooms. Clean. Very good breakfast.

Wasnt happy with the reception service, not even a smile, didnt give full instructions where the room was, didn’t even tell whether the parking is paid. Also didnt even give full details about the breakfast, he said we can have then, when we went thee, they demanded to pay.. anyway my experience wasnt great. i would not stay here again and would not recommend.. not a welcoming place.. if you are a tourist then avoid..

We happily arrived in Belgium for the first week of the grand Tomorrowland music festival! The unbelievable thing happened on our last day, when we were checking out! As we stood up to pick up our luggage in the hotel lobby, within ten seconds, our backpacks, passports, money, and other belongings were all stolen!!! The hotel security was terrible! This happened right in the hotel lobby! It was so unsafe! My group, including my children, were left penniless and had nowhere to stay! The police came and told us to wait in the hotel! Since it was Wednesday and the embassy was closed, we couldn't process any requests, so the five of us had nowhere else to go. The hotel gave us a room until the embassy opened the next day, but they wanted the room fee. We only had 20 euros, and they said they wanted to leave it for the kids' meals. The front desk refused to answer our calls and forced us to borrow money from family and friends back home. We said it was the middle of the night and everyone was asleep, but they still wouldn't let us go!!! It's completely heartless!!! How could this hotel be so unkind!!! They have no human touch at all!

We had booked a room with a balcony terrace on Trip.com. Unfortunately, that's not what we got upon arrival and I had to pay an extra €30 at check-in. Which Trip.com later refunded me. They didn't offer a late check-out until 2 p.m. They asked for another €30... it's not the same service as before. I'll choose another hotel for my next business trip. The service has declined and the welcome is not great. Luckily, Trip.com was there to compensate!
