5 kms away from central market in Gabrovo. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. The theme is green colored and the rooms are decently spacious and well designed

Also if you have joint replacement it is NOT contraindicated to go there! There is also excellent physiotherapy center Physical therapy. Internal medicine, Nephrology

The view from the window is very serene. The restaurant served a delicious complimentary breakfast and I almost always had risotto for dinner because it was made so well

Staff were really helpful and friendly - English spoken where the Bulgarian escaped us - and the issues mentioned in the less favourable reviews in the "Hitr Petr" listing had clearly been ironed out

Best french fries we have ever had and I hate french fries but we ordered them for the kid and then I ended up eating them. It is worth coming back to the region just to stay at this place

The place is really nice and cosy! You hear all kinds of birds around, the sunset is amazing, the colours in the sky after a storm are breath-taking! This is the perfect place to find your escape, relax, take some sound sleep, see the local hospitality and taste a magic called food, homemade by the bright and smiley hostess herself!

This is by far the best service my family and I have gotten anywhere. It starts off with a charming traditional styled village steeped in history, where you get greeted by the friendliest staff known to man

Tranquility and peace dominate this extraordinary location in the mountains. Excellent for detox of one's mind, meditation, self-realization. I had to discontinue my antihypertensive pills shortly after staying there :-)

We were here in springtime, everything around was green and full of singing birds which lull you into sleep. The bed was soft, the pillows, the cover and to me it seems even the matress were filled with down feather

The included breakfast was very good and dinner was also very delicious, sitting by the fire. Table sevice was very informative and polite. Also in a great and quiet location

A very calm place for relaxation and a weekend family holiday. No air conditioning though, hence the missing star. By European standards it is very cheap.

Not a bad hotel with helpful staff, the surprise was in the morning set menu the sandwiches with yellow cheese and ham were lightly baked only on top without adding butter or margarine and the slices were raw

For dinner, I ordered a satlenka from the set menu because I decided that nothing much would happen. I will add the photo, which is eloquent

There are trails right nearby and the Town center is within walking distance! The rooms were a great size and super clean, the lobby and restaurant were huge and the pool, while a little chilly, was a fun break from days of exploring

The breakfast buffet is a great treat offering plenty of choices, just be sure to get there early because the crowd goes fast! The restaurant at night is good too with several traditional salads and meals to choose from (if you don't want to walk to another restaurant)

Everything was excellent. We had a problem with the card and the door, but the staff fixed it very fast and everything was ok after that. The place is very good, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Place is clean and comfortable. I'd have to advise against ordering the breakfast, as it's available in a nearby place anyway. This way you can diverse the breakfast.

Amazing host, carrying and funny! On top of that, she gave over her parking slot to us so we parked in front of the house! So kind! Sparkling clean place with two beautiful gardens, highly recommend it and very happy with the stay!

You can see that she is really passioned about it. Moreover, the hotel is very nice and clean. The room was very big and quiet. At breakfast we had home-made bulgarian pastries. I am looking forward to staying there soon

The easy parking (private parking) is a plus, the proximity to the city center and all the restaurants is surely a plus (max 1-2 min to center by foot). The room and the bathroom were very clean

Do not expect to be a glamorous hotel, but do expect to be a clean and ideal place to spend a couple of nights so you can explore Tryavna and the surroundings

The owner of the hotel was quite nice, helped us with all the information we needed about our stay

The white bed sheets are a plus from me (because you can see if they are clean and pressed)

This is honestly the best spa hotel we've been to in Bulgaria. The pool, the saunas and steam room, the delicious food in the restaurants, the garden, the view, the impeccably designed rooms, the excellent service

Hotel Chukara in the town of Tryavna offers a cozy retreat with a fantastic atmosphere, diverse activities including wine tourism, a petting zoo, swimming pool, spa area, and culinary adventures

The room was very spacious, modern design, clean, had the amenities we needed, the view from balcony was stunning The hotel complex has an organized and clean area with animals, which our children really liked to visit there, and there are also outdoor playgrounds for children and outdoor seating areas to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the place

I think the staff maybe does not know enough English but there was very trashy explicit music on, and the fact that the hotel is dog friendly is great, but I don´t think that dog owners should have the animal sit in a restaurant chair during service and also eating bacon

We had nice cocktails before dinner and a wonderful dinner with very nice service from the young lady who was our waitress ( Velizara ) Chukara is a great experience. The only reason I would give 4

The food and the service in both of the restaurants was excellent! I would like to mention the desserts at the osel restaurant which were really excellent and of a high standard

Can’t eat breakfast outside(which I think is a weird rule in corona times) our room smelt like deodorant when we checked in. We realized this morning it’s because the room smells like an ash tray

Even though we are in a non smoking room it stinks so bad. I really wanted to give five stars because the people who run it are so nice but it smells so bad

I wasn't planning on staying in Shipka but I was getting pretty tired. Did I ever get lucky finding this hotel. Super friendly owners, large rooms, pool, sauna, steam room, good food. I would absolutely stay here again

Owners are friendly and speak English. Safe motorcycle parking, pool, bar, restaurant, sauna, infared sauna. They even have a market in the town center for all your needs

Lovely couple running a family run business. They couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely room and balcony just outside our room. We stayed 2 nights and only intended staying for 1

Room was clean, there is a mini fridge but with no price list, you find out during check-out. Overall I would recommend the hotel, the only negative is that its located a bit far from the city center

Of course the hotel was not full and we were in an emergency so I do not understand what the problem was. She then agreed, price is normal - 60lv for 1 or 2 adults; 80lv for 3 adults

It was late at night, almost midnight, no one answered our first phone call and after the second one the receptionist informed us that it is too late to check-in

We unfortunately had to stay overnight in the city and this was the one hotel that was opened during that time

We just did a one night stay, a very modern look to this hotel. Clean and tidy but very basic. Breakfast was very good continental style nothing fancy
