Great place to stay for exploring Ruse city centre.
Everything is at waking distance from the place.
Our room was big, bright and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice bonus - the guesthouse has a kitchen that all can be used by all guests. The kitchen is big, clean and well equipped. There is also nice shared dining area as well.
Car travellers should keep in mind that the guesthouse has only one private parking slot that most of the time is occupied. Despite that, there is free public parking available on the street.
Housekeeper Evgeni helped us to find a parking slot each time we needed one.
Ruse by-itself is magnificent. Definitely will consider to come here again.

I guess it depends which room you're at. It's not a hotel, it's a hostel. On the underground floor the bathrooms/toilets were shared, which wasn't what we had in the booking offer, and my friends were really really bothered by that. Lucky for us there wasn't anyone else on the floor at the time, so we went along with it for just the night. The location is perfect, yes. And the price is quite fair. The problems is the misinformation and the smell on the lower floors. There is no city view from a basement :)) Otherwise there it was fairly clean, there was a kitchen and a common smelly room.

Edit: after talking to the owner it seems our section did not have any other rooms, so the bathrooms were "private", only outside the room. Just don't choose the "duplex quadriple" room and you're probably going to have a better experience.

Good location and rooms. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast for a very reasonable price. The hostess was incredibly helpful. Certainly recommended.

Total chaos, when we arrived we were told our reservation was cancelled, as someone called that morning. None of us did. They managed to arrange accommodation for us in a different hotel and offered us breakfast for next morning. There was no breakfast in the morning..

Very lovely owner, makes her own cheese and bread for breakfast, wish we could have stayed for more than one night! She also kept our bags after we checked out until we left in the afternoon, which was extremely helpful l!

Nice and cosy, this is a typical English style hotel all the way over in Ruse. The owner/manager is a a very polite lady who will make sure you have everything you need, will serve an amazing breakfast and will give you her advices on your stay in the town or your journey ahead.
